This is a two-pack of stainless steel eye strap hooks. They are very small and are not for securing large items but perfect if you need a small one within limited space. I put them on each side of my shop window so I could secure a box fan with a bungee cord during the summer. My wall is already cluttered with tools so these small straps worked perfect.

Made from 316 Stainless Steel these Eye Straps can be used around salt water without worry of them rusting. Just make sure to fasten them down with stainless steel screws. They do not include any screws.
The two screw holes are 5/32 inch and are tapered for use with a Flat Head screw. The two screw holes are 1 – 1/8 inch center to center (See Photo).
Even though it is a 5/16 inch Eye Strap it is actually just shy of 7/16 inch (See Photo with 7/16 drill bit).
Removing the straps from the plastic packaging was more work than I expected it to be. Needed to get a razor blade to free them from the plastic.

These are made of stainless steel. Sure they are supposed to be strong but these are a bit on the thin side. For my purpose, they will work fine. I am using them simply to keep a rope in place. I would be cautious to use them for anything that requires a lot of torsional stress. They will accommodate about a 3/8” diameter rope. It looks nice and the size is compact.

According to the description the Everbilt 5/16 in. x 1-7/16 in. 316 Grade Stainless Steel Eye Strap (2-Pack) is “Perfect for marine and industrial applications” however, they have a nice stainless-steel finish so they have other applications as well. I’m using them as small hangers/hooks both in my house and in the garden. Well made, heavy duty and, with marine grade stainless steel, they are more resistant to corrosion; they should last awhile. FYI: they do not come with screws or bolts and the packaging made it very difficult to remove the straps.

A great item for fastening a piece of metal rod or simple curtain rod. Since it's stainless steel, corrosion isn't a problem. Can be nailed or screwed to the surface. However for outdoor use alloy screws might be the better choice since ordinary screws have a tendency to rust.
This will securely hold any 5/16 round rod, metal or wood and has a screw span of 1-7/16. Does not include any hardware.
