Fixed adjustable bed base

handy for my driveway gate bracket
Needed a piece of strong metal that I can use to extend the end of my driveway gate so I can attach the chain bracket to it for the gate motor to be able to pull. I used 2 of these for that very purpose and it has worked well.

What a surprise this was. It is not only a well made plate but also is texturized. You will see up close that this has a cool pattern to enlighten your use. This is not meant for construction use but rather a decorative use on things like furniture and decorations. The plate is pretty thick for its size and not easily bendable. I am impressed and look forward to making something creative with it!

These are a great value and you get four brackets with eight screws, two are required for each bracket. They are great for adding detail work to smaller projects and they can provides some structural strength to the project too. The dimensions are two inches long by 5/8 inches wide. The screws are a total of 3/4 inches long with the threaded shaft length of 5/8 inch.. Easy to install by drilling a small pilot hole first. They have a nice hammered detail to the brackets with what looks a feels like a thick coat of black paint,

You get four of these 3/4 inch by 3 inches long black plates in each pack, The screws are also included too so there will be no hunting around for the correct screw size, color and shape. The total screw length is 3/4 inch with a 5/8 inch shaft. They are countersunk to fit flush with the bracket. Be sure to face the right side up on the bracket and you'll know if you do the screw heads will sit flush. The brackets have a nice hammered finish and the paint looks durable like a powdered coat. Great for adding detail or structural strength to smaller projects.

These mending plates are not only sturdy and easy to use, but they also look great. They have that antique iron look that makes them almost too fashionable for just mending. Repair takes seconds using the included black screws. They look like they will outlast me because of the strength and thickness of the plates. I would recommend these for areas that are visible to others because of their design.

We got these EVERBILT 5 IN. BLACK HAMMERED MENDING PLATE (4-PACK) to hold down the base of the metal frame for our gazebo. They are very thick and heavy and even have a nice pattern on them. They each have four holes and come with screws, however, the screws are short, so we used longer ones. We get a lot of wind that passes through our yard and our neighbor actually had his gazebo blow down. We are confident that with these plates to hold the frame down, we won't have to worry about that.

We were going to replace some old raised garden beds until we saw the price of lumber. Well, looks like we'll repair the raised beds and wait till next year. The 4-inch mending plates worked excellently! Even the screws bit in and held well enough to pull the loose wood in. We've had complaints about included screws before for being way too soft to grab and hold without the head stripping out. These screws were GOOD.
As you can see from pics below the mending plates and screws drew the loose wood together VERY well.
