6 in. x 6 in. x 1/8 in. Rubber-Packaging Sheets (2-Pack)

The Everbilt 6 in. x 6 in. x 1/8 in. Rubber-Packaging 2-Pack Sheets came Tan in color, not black (okay for me). I use these as vibration/slippage control for my woodworking projects when using hand-held power tools (belt/pad sander, router, drill press) and for vibration control under my bench mount power tools (bench grinder, planner, belt/disc sander). There are also many other useful applications that these durable 1/8" thick rubber pads can be used for!

Ordered the packing sheets to make replacement gaskets for the gas tank caps on my gas-powered lawn tools. I removed the old deteriorated cork gasket material, placed it on the sheet, traced around the outline, cut the new gasket to size and shape, and forced it into the gas cap. The material makes a nice, durable, leak proof gasket better than the original cork material. I am very happy with the result.

I use these sheets for plumbing gaskets on old fixtures in my house when I cannot find the right washer or it would just take time to get one. They are 1/8" thick and rubber. Each sheet is 6 inches by 6 inches and there are two in the package. Quality of the rubber is good. They can be cut with shears or a blade/razor. These sheets are made in China.

Quality, dense rubber sheets.  They are easy to cut with a utility knife to whatever shape needed and they won't tear.  Although the most common use would be to create rubber gaskets, they would also be good under the feet of heavy equipment, or making a shim for outdoor use.  I was going to use them along with contact cement to repair a leak in my rubber boots.  But, an eighth inch is a little too thick for the outside of my boots, one sixteenth thickness would be better.  Both sides have the same texture, rather smooth, no ribbing, which is perfect for making gaskets or creating a waterproof shim.  These are good quality rubber sheets which will come in handy around the workshop.

I got some of these initially to use for making gaskets to replace old ones on my gas cans because I have a lot of cans and this is a handy way to do it for a good price. The material is a good thickness and is to spec as advertised. It also seems to hold up well to chemicals namely gasoline. It is pretty easy to cut. I just took a new gasket and traced a number of them out onto these with a pen then cut them out on a nylon cutting board. Most recently I ran across another good use for them. I had a silencer stuck on a 22 pistol as can often happen with silencers. Rather than resort to pliers or a strap wrench (I could not find my strap wrench at the time) I grabbed one of these and wrapped it around the cooled down silencer and was able to get a good grip with it and break it loose. So I keep a sheet in my pistol bag now for that use. You do need to let it cool down before doing this or you can still get burned but it is a great grip aid. I’m sure there are many other uses and this won’t be the last one I find.

These red rubber sheets are dense - each sheet weighs 4.2 oz. The dimensions are exact - 6" x 6" x 1/8". The edges are smooth and they have a slight rubber odor. They are easy to cut cleanly with a utility knife. As a resilience test, I crushed an edge as hard as I could with the tip of a pair of needlenose pliers. The rebound was pretty much complete, all but 15/100", and only a faint impression was left.

The Everbilt 6 in. x 6 in. x1/8 in. rubber-packaging sheets (2-pack) , in black or red is a rubber packing sheet sheet you can cut to create custom gaskets. I like to work on old cars/trucks and I need to replace gaskets sometimes that are hard to find or too expensive to buy. Now I can cut my own from these 6 in. x 6 in. x 1/8 in. rubber sheets. This rubber sheet is easy to cut and bends very easily. I like to keep a few of these in my garage for projects I am working on.

Seems to be working fine. I used it as cushioning for a motorcycle gas tank.

Great gasket material. I used it to make a gasket for a 20 gallon sprayer cap. Works great.
