I built a gate at our new house this summer and wanted to add a little flavor. The black metal knob certainly adds a nice aesthetic. It is much sturdier than it probably needs to, very dense feeling. Very easy to install as it comes with matching screws. The fit and finish are perfect for the wrought iron look and compliments the natural redwood fencing.

Simple and efficient gate stopper from Everbilt. Very easy to install. Apply imagination upon installation. Just select the right place to stop your gates. Two screws of matching color are included into the package. All you will need is a screwdriver.
As for construction: the gate stopper is made of metal and coated with paint. Looks solid. Works well for my wooden gate.

I received the EVERBILT BLACK GATE STOP. I need this to help protect my water line and spicket. This makes for a safe guard of the gate swinging in too far and causing damage to the gate or the water line. As you can see in the photographs it will stop the gate before it can hit the water line, making it safer for every one going in and out of the garden.

This Gate Stop is a very heavy-duty gate stop. We used this on our greenhouse door to stop the door from pushing inward and over-extending the hinges. It works perfectly and it seems like it would hold up to very heavy usage. Great and useful product and it suited our needs perfectly.
Easy to install as all you have to do is choose a location and drill in the screws.

This is the only reasonably-priced L-shaped gate stop I could find. It is heavy duty and matches Boerboel black gate hardware. It works well but is only 1.76" So the gate needs to be close to the post. Too bad they don't have a variety of sizes.
I fabricated a wood filler piece (see photos), using deck board (which is 1" thick and treated lumber). Any treated board would work if you can cut/shape it to size. I primed and spray painted. Works great.
It also could be mounted on the gate instead of the post. No instructions, but to get precise alignment, I would pencil mark and drill a small (1/8") starter hole, although the screws would self-drill. I added a strip of foam window weather strip for cushioning (add before marking for drilling).

Gate stop for our wooden garden gate. Easy to install with just two screws. Powder coated in black and a good match to the handle, the hinges as well as the gate hardware latching mechanism. It helps to prevent the gate from swinging or hitting the gate latch too hard preventing damage to the latching mechanism. eliminates the gate swinging beyond it's intended stopping point.
