A:  Super strong large handle. Will look great as well.

A:  This would not be a recommended use for the Everbilt Black Heavy-Duty Rod Iron Gate Pull. Please consider an ADA compliant grab bar such as the one listed in the following link: https://www.homedepot.com/p/EVEKARE-8-in-x-1-1-2-in-Concealed-Flange-ADA-Compliant-Grab-Bar-in-Matte-Black-EVK-0403-ICU/313438070.

A:  to get up 1 or 2 stairs, yes. For more stairs, no.

A:  I would make make sure it had very long screws into a solid piece of wood, hate to fall back.

A:  Yes , my daughter broke he foot and had a cast to her knee . I put a few of these to help her get into the house from the outside . 2 steps . I put one on the wall and one on the jamb between the storm door and the the exterior Great choice

Q:the entire handle is 9 5/8" - what is the inside measure from post to post? what is the inside measure from surface to handle?

          Answer This Question

A:  For this Rod Iron Gate Pull the inside distance between the two mounting points is 5.83 inches. The depth from underneath the handle to the surface is 1.24 inches.

          by|May 27, 2020

A:  7" is the inside measure post to post. Inside from surface to handle is 1-1/4" at the center tapering to 1-5/8" towards the posts. These are really rugged, fully cast with no cavities or indention. I'm actually using them as hand grips mounted on the posts at the top of a pull down stair case, for which they are perfect.

Did not even get it out of package before the handle snapped off the bottom mounting bracket. Poor quality.

Wanted a wrought iron pull for our new bedroom/bathroom barn door. This was absolutely perfect. Very hefty--love the hand-crafted appearance and vibe. Couldn't be happier. Also, it's the little things. The design is very thoughtful. The screw holes are oriented in such a way that they are easily accessible--with the handle itself sort of tilted away from the fasteners.

Very well built. Used these on some interior sliding barn doors. They look great on our doors. Kind of hard to see in the photo because we did black on black, but they are awesome.
