Q:The specifications should state the dia. of the hinge pin it accepts. Hinge pins are either 1/4” or 5/16” so the holes in the stoppers are 1/64” larger, 19/64” and 21/64” respectively.

Got this satin nickel hinge door stop for our back pation door that has a blind top cover that sticks out about 4 inches, this has stopped us from accidently opening the door too wide and break that off. Matches our satin nickel hardware perfectly. It’s easy to install and adjust the dept of how far your door opens, ours stop at around 90 degrees. Excellent value.

These are a great improvement over the old fashion spring door stop. The hardest part was getting the hinge pin out. No fault of this product. These work great to keep your door from making holes in your wall. The cushioned adjustable screw allows you to set how far you want stop before hitting the wads Pleased with purchase.

Nice Look, But doesn't allow door to fully open.
The Everbilt Satin Nickel Hinge Pin Door Stop is made strong and performs really well with preventing my doors from opening to open to far. The only concern I have is that it doesn't open a wide as I would like. The reason I'm using this method of door stop than the floor molding spring stop, is due to there being another door which also opens in the same direction. You can see in my pictures that although this prevents me from having the doors hit each other, it only allows me to open it so far. If you are looking to open your door all the way to the wall. I suggest using a door spring stop.
