Get a tarp!
Because it’s gonna get messy! I have 3 90 bends in the vent pipe, attached one segment at a time to my drill and used gentle pressure and it made the bend. Attach next segment and repeat. When all 8 ft in the pipe was in I turned on the dryer (on air) and WHOOSH - dust storm!! Hence the tarp (which I didn’t do - and now have to go back to HD for a bag of mulch before the wife sees it!). Kept the dryer on,the drill on medium high and pulled back out slowly.

Would likely work well for a simple maintenance cleaning but not a heavy duty cleaning of a vent. Spend the money on a professional, trust me.
Would likely work well for a maintenance cleaning with very little lint and blockage. Unfortunately for me the blockage caught the brush and the plastic rod melted inside of its bracket and came loose in the vent. The plastic melted because it got hot from spinning since the brush was held still. Not good.

    Easy to use
It is easy to put together. I was able to clean my air duct with no issues. First from the bottom going up. Then from the roof going down

It broke off right away in my dryer it was completely defective once we spent 3 hours getting it out we realized the top part that’s connects to the metal piece the adhesive and clamp wasn’t done correctly which caused the failure mode. We almost had to call someone to come get it.

performs for wifey exactly as promised
I very seldom give a 5 star review, however this works exactly as was promised. I bout 2 sets which was a total of 16 ft. I only needed 6 of the rods. I used a regular electric drill only because I could not find my screw gun, so I can not comment on using it with a screw gun. It's best if you only use the amount of rods necessary. Since my vent is in my condo roof this has happened before therefore I decided to purchase this. I had a video but it won't let me post a video. My dryer was taking forever to dry and I clean my lint tray after each use. The vent hose was clean and I even tried running my rainbow system up there with 0 luck. This was easy to use and worth not having a fire. You do not have to use a power tool with it but I wanted to make sure I got it as clean as possible. As you can see from the pic it had a lot of lint/fur lol. I found it to be extremely flexible even though I have to go up and over to get it where I need it. Very happy.

Awesome! It got the job done!
We needed a tool to clean out our dryer vent. It was long overdue, it has probably been over a year since it was cleaned. We picked this up today and 45 minutes later our vent is amazingly clean. It was simple, you hook all the flexible pieces together, take them, attach it to the drill and off you go. We did it from the outside and pulled it up first five times bringing dust each time and then went inside the house and pulled it down five more times. Here is a picture of the mess that came out of the vent just on the inside of the house; the outside had equally as much dust. We have paid $125 for somebody to come and do this in the past and we were able to do it quickly and very efficiently for 20 bucks. It was a bit if a mess but worth the effort to know it was done properly. Well worth your time and money!

          It’s ok, but....
It’s ok, but it is made of inexpensive materials. I used it to clean the exhaust chute coming directly from a dryer and the extension duct that connected the dryer to the permanent metal exhaust ducting. I did not....repeat did not expect this thing to work as well as it did. If I had a few words of advice it would be to slowly give it power from the drill because the ducting is usually fragile so if you squeeze the trigger like you’re drilling into a stud then you might break the rods. Also carry 2 adjustable wrenches to aid in breaking down the rods for transport. This was my first time using it and it worked great although the instructions were a bit vague. It took 3 runs to get all of the lint out, but the before and after pics show how well it cleans. It’s only $20, but the rods do feel a bit flimsy. Stronger rods, better instructions a carrying case or bag of some kind would be nice because of it’s awkward shape it’s difficult to carry or put into a regular bag for transport. Also if rods had octagon shaped ends on the connector rods they would be easier to disassemble.

            cheap plastic snaps easily
A plastic rod snapped while going around a bend. This was within first 3 minutes of me using the tool. Basically worthless.

Purchased 3 sets in order to reach to top of dryer vent (roof exit). All was going well, and 16' into vent the rod broke at one of the couplers. Took me the remaining day and part of the next to fish it out. You can watch videos on the internet of handymen using the same brand with the same dreaded results. May work for short, wall exited dryer vents. Lesson learned. On the hunt for fiberglass rods.
