Q:How is this used? Why don't you have pictures explaining how it's installed? All I see is two white odd shaped plastic objects with no reference as to how it's used or why I would need it.

Q:I bought a pair of the Prime Line Drawer Track Back Plate sockets, 3/8 inch x 1 inch. But the slides were still a little too big, and didn't fit in properly. I jammed them in anyway, since it wasn't worth returning them Is there a bigger size available?

Q:Is the rear socket supposed to be so bulky that the drawer won't fully close? I've tried everything even completely loosened them to provide space for the drawer to close...no luck. Junk design!

A:  1) Use spacer blocks so that the slide reach the rear sockets. I used 2x4 blocks. 2) Cut off inner wall of rear socket so that drawer and slide don't interfere with socket. Using a multi-tool works best. 3) Screw slides to side of socket.

              The brackets suck
The slides are fine, they are pretty strong, slide nicely and seem to work very well. The brackets are garbage. Like another review says they constantly break & have to be replaced. It's not that they're very expensive, it's just inconvenient. I would pay more for a bracket that lasted a few years, these barely last a few months!! ( made in china...)

Rear socket too obtrusive. Prevents drawer from fully closing
I have 23-1/2 inch deep cabinet, so I bought the 22 inch full extension ball bearing slide set and the Face frame socket set. When the slide is mounted to the front opening of the cabinet (with the socket adapter front piece), the back of the slide only fits (about) 1/4 " into the rear socket adapter. This gave me no confidence as a long term, reliable and sturdy solution, so I screwed in a 3/4" piece of board to move the rear socket forward so the slide would fit into the socket deeper. However, when I put the drawer on the slides and pushed it in, the drawer would not close all of the way. It turns out the drawer was bumping the rear socket. These sockets are too bulky. I think they were made as they are since they are plastic. I expect if you mount the slide piece (C) that on the bottom of the drawer, or if you a comfortable with only 1/4" of support from the rear socket, then this solution might work, but the limits of the product are not articulated anywhere. If have shelving units with plastic mount pieces break after about 18 years (under a static load). You cannot rely on small amounts of plastic to hold up over the years. It just seems to get brittle. This frame adapter concept needs to be made from metal so it provides a sturdy solution for ALL mount situations that a consumer may need.

This face frame socket set is absolutely ridiculous. I can’t even slide back my cabinet drawer all the way without it getting in the way. I had to modify it by cutting off half of it with a dremel. See the following link for a demonstration of how I went about resolving this: youtu.be/Sw9719em-Ww I have no idea how this is supposed to work with a regular drawer that you’re upgrading to soft closing... The directions were pretty straight forward, but didn’t cover this sort of situation. They need to come out with a similar version that they have with the European version of the slides (non-ball bearing side mounts) where the slide is exposed on one half. Would resolve the problem

Still the same issue. These don’t work! Your cabinet drawer hits these brackets before it can fully close. Where is the re-engineering bracket?

Bracket hits drawers, and cannot close door.
Read literally any of the other reviews. Abysmal design that I wasted 4 hours of my day on trying to figure out. I'm absolutely fuming and infuriated at the time investment put into this only to find that its intentionally designed like this. https://youtu.be/Sw9719em-Ww I really dont know why home depot, after multiple years of supplying this product and knowing about the issue, havent pulled this product off the shelves.

                            Until it breaks again
They all break eventually. The T shaped piece I mean. They should make metal ones. Also, there we less holes to screw into , but it seems to work with one screw OKAY.
