Worked better than expected.
I used two of these to support a butcher block lid to cover an ice maker in a lower cabinet. They worked perfectly for a very reasonable price.

Just what I needed. I had a drop down door on a cabinet and decided to put a shelf inside and needed something to hold the door in place when opened. The employee at the store recommended this product and was perfect.

Used it to hold open up-swinging windows in a fancy garden shed. Worked fine. Getting it just right takes time since it matters a lot where the pivot points are relative to each other. More detailed instructions would help.
