Q:I also cannot find the "hand warmer" place/opening to put a hand warmer in. I also bought these for that reason, and bought warmers to put in them. I bought 2 pairs and have turned the gloves inside and out, there is no pocket, no "Velcro" to pull open.

A:Â No such pouch or opening exists on these gloves. You must have confused them for a different model.

A:Â Didn't find one in mine either. First time I purchased this model. I usually get the F.G. Blizzard which DOES have the pocket.

Bought gloves on a Sunday, and returned them next day, after only one use. Threads/stitching, which seem to be made of tissue paper, disintegrated and pulled out, plus holes in fingers. Synthetic leather is junk and developed multiple holes in fingers. "FIRM GRIP TOUGH WORKING GLOVES" per attached tag: NOT!!! DO NOT BUY!!!!

I am a firefighter and purchased these for enter use. I recently had occasion to use them during cleanup after a house fire. They held up to several tasks, including carrying a ladder, and crawling on rocks under a deck. They were easy to wash and kept my hands warm.

unexceptional gloves; extremely long fingers; much different from photo
If your fingers are so unusually long that you have trouble finding gloves that fit, buy these.
These supposedly XXL gloves are snug on my admittedly chubby but normally proportioned hands (on which normal XL and even some L gloves fit just fine), but there's nearly an inch of extra space at the end of the thumb and each of the four fingers.
The packaging loudly touts touchscreen compatibility, which I verified on my car's navigation screen, but I had to force my finger all the way to the tip of the glove for it to work. Nearly all of my gloves that fit also work the touchscreen without bragging about it, so it's not such a hot selling point anyway.
The inside feels soft and warm when you first put your hand in, but out in a cold wind they're no warmer than any other cloth gloves insulated with Thinsulate, and MUCH less warm than well-insulated mittens. On my way out into a blizzard, I would not reach for these Blizzard gloves.
The pocket for a not-included hand warmer (whatever that is) is on the back of the hand just above the wrist, so I'm not sure how helpful that would be. My fingers are almost always cold, but I don't remember the lower back side of my hand EVER feeling uncomfortably cold in 68 years. So I would not invest in hand warmers just because these gloves have pockets to put them in.
When I pulled the hand-warmer pocket open to see how deep it was, one half of the Velcro came off, which was not encouraging. (The pocket doesn't reach as far as the knuckles, by the way.)
Finally, the gloves I got look very different from the photo currently displayed for them. They're black instead of gray, so the oddly bright white top-stitching stands out even more. The manufacturer apparently has changed its name from the sensible Firm Grip to the cheesy Big Time Products, but when they made that change they wisely just removed the manufacturer's name from the outside of the glove. They did come up with a snazzy new bright-white Blizzard logo (it reminds me of the bright white lightning-bolt inserts in the sides of a pair of black loafers I had in about 1961), but the font they used makes it look as much like Buzzard as Blizzard.

This pair of gloves look and feels great. They are very comfortable and warm. Black Sleek insulated and made to allow a firm grip and equipped with hand warmer pocket. It is only the end of October here where I live and we have been experiencing warmer than usual weather. I have no doubt very soon these gloves will become part of my daily wear when I head out to the great outdoors. Because of the thin insultaed material they will also be excellent for driving.Example: the drill was really easy to assemble, lightweight and not noisy. I am really pleased with the battery life and was able to use the drill without charging for over an hour of heavy duty use...
I found these Blizzard gloves to be a little tight on my 7" long (finger tip to top of wrist) by 4" wide (edge of thumb to edge of pinky across palm) hand, with the "squeeze" being felt at the top of my hand. Contrary to its claim of being touchscreen-friendly, it was far more difficult to use either any touchscreeen device (I have an e-reader, pad-like phone, and pad-like computer) than I would have with my bare hands (perhaps a plastic "bump" at the tip of the index finger would have helped). The hand-warmer, pack, pocket is at the top of the hand, but is very narrow, so it can only take thin hand-warmers, which, in my experience, don't last very long, compared with full-sized hand-warmers; I can't imagine why the mfr didn't simply add more space for such, which could even have been used to hold keys, coins, etc! Putting aside those two "functions," the gloves are flexible and thicker than standard driving gloves, but thinner than winter/ski mittens, though they do feel as if they would keep my hands warm in the cold (the weather was above 60 degrees when I tried them out, so, I put them in my zero-degree freezer, moved some items around, and felt almost no cold even after 5 minutes, even though my bared wrist was chilled immediately; my hand started feeling a little chilly after the 5 minutes, but, I think they would have stayed warm a little longer). The leather fingertips on the index finger, middle finger, and thumb, make it easier to pick up and hold items, and the padded palm cushions against hard surfaces, yet it is surprisingly flexible. These are an inexpensive alternative to thinner and fancier driving gloves, and can be used for many outdoor activities, both for work and play (not sure how they will do with making snowballs, though!).
