I don't ski, and we haven't had a harsh winter, but I remember many winters standing up to my waist in snow with the wind howling shoveling snow. I wished I had gloves that were warm like these and had gauntlets to make sure there were no gaps with my coat. Well. I have them now. I can tighten around the wrist and I can tighten where my coat and glove overlap. I am not going to wish for a blizzard, but I feel ready when the time comes.

I like the large cuff, pull tie, and velcro straps on these gloves. I also like that they're machine washable. Unfortunately, that's where the kudos end. I got what I paid for... and they're not even worth what I paid. First of all, I thought they'd be warm based on the "Thinsulate Insulation" tag on the velcro strap. Well, the lining is 100% polyester and below freezing temperatures, my fingers freeeeeeeeze. These things are lightweights (aka, thin). When I wear my real ski gloves (which I own a few pairs), my finger tips don't get cold unless I'm making snowballs for 30 minutes... or skiing for a few hours. Even though these are advertised as ski gloves, I would never wear them on a mountain. I used them for shoveling and they barely made it through last season (which was nothing relative to two years ago). The stitching has come apart on some of the fingers and the thumb is ripping. I don't even abuse these like my real ski gloves. Also, the reinforced fingertips are very stiff. Anyway, not my best purchase. In hindsight, if I'm going to buy winter gloves, I'll save the money and buy something that will last and do what they should... that is, keep my digits warm.

Comfortable
I would recommend these Long Cuff Ski Glove. I find them to be warm and comfortable They fit as expected. I like the extra long cuff, it really fits over my coat to give me coverage over my wrist They would be comfortable for work or play. I fill that they do keep my fingers warm. Thinsulate is a great product in gloves. Water resistant, I tried these gloves out by leaving them out in the rain for a couple of hours and the water just ran off them and inside the glove was dry. Machine washable makes for easy clean up. Velcro tightening straps help it to fit better on your hand.

I purchased my first pair of these gloves while I was working at Home Depot during a Christmas special. I got them to try as winter riding gloves while on my Harley. They turned out to be the best I have found in over 50 years of riding. So good I purchased pairs of them for family members for the same purpose. .
