A: Thank you for your question. This product is 100% polyurethane foam and is NOT recommended for installation on walls. This product is not also designed to be used for floorcovering. This product is designed to be used to make pillows, seat cushions, bedding, crafts, etc.
A: It could be used for insulation however it is not very effective nor recommended. That is why it does not give an R-Value.
A: No R-Value is listed on the package.
A: I don't see why not. But I am not an expert. This is great foam if you are using a good covering with elastic to hold it down. But I would probably go with a thinner foam, they usually carry these foams in various thicknesses. Good luck with your project.
A: If you made tie-on seat cushions, but based on the frames of folding chairs, I would think a thinner foam (1 -2 inches) would work better. You might try some ready-made cushions (which you can return) to see what works best for what you are trying to achieve.
A: I believe they will work with folding chairs. We use this foam as a topper on a sleeping cot used every night and I get a replacement foam every 6-8 months.
A: It’s a little too thick and stiff to fold easily. Very nice quality but maybe too much for a folding chair, unless you don’t want it to fold! Lol
A: Yes, absolutely. Nice and thick. Good quality. I used it to create a window seat cushion and to reupholster a bench at the end of my bed.
A: Thank you for your question. This product is an excellent choice for making seat cushions for your folding chairs.
A: Thank you for your question. Firmness varies by one's opinion. I would say this is a semi firm product.
A: I would say it’s more on the firm side. I used it to make a bench cushion. I don’t use it as much, more for decor, so far it seems to hold up fairly well. I think the overall quality is very good.
A: I would say semi firm, very little compression.
A: In my opinion it would be rated semi firm as will retain shaped if item left on for period of time.
A: Semi firm
A: It's pretty squishy for a floor
A: It’s pretty dense. Better material is out there for sound proofing.
A: I can't say as to how it would work as a floor. I used this product for insulation and it works perfectly for temperature and noise control.
A: Thank you for your question. This product is not designed to be used as a flooring product. This product is designed to be used for making bench cushions, pillows, etc.
