Will this product work for an outdoor bistro table? Is the product considered safety glass. I accidentally turned my bistro table over forgetting the glass was not attached. Fortunately the glass simply crumbled into sweepable pieces.

The wind blew over our round patio table. Do you think this would work as a replacement?
Yes. Mine is on top of a wine barrel, on my porch. We've had heavy wind storms last week, with up to 40 mph gusts. I didn't even think about moving it in beforehand as the glass is quite heavy. It remained, stable and will most likely be a stabilizing factor for your patio table.
As long as the diameter is the same, that should work. Most patio tables have a rim where the glass will be placed. If that's the case, I recommend measuring it from inside the rim, and deducting about 1/8" so the glass has enough room to be inserted in there. Please also check the depth of your rim, and compare to the glass thickness. If the rim is thinner than the glass itself, the glass will be sticking out.
