Very easy to use and setup.

I bought this kit to add lighting to a curio cabinet with an aircraft model display. The light strip is very small (which is good), the lens is opaque so the light is very well cast. Had plenty of length and I like that you can trim it and it includes connectors for more segments. The self adhesive backing is strong enough to hang sideways or upside down. The light can be incredibly bright if you want but the dim setting is great too. Timer and remote work great. My only complaint and the reason for 4 stars is the splices to connect other segments are quite tricky. If you don't get the strip inserted far enough or in the right orientation, the metallic contacts will not pierce the soldered contacts. I had to mess with three of the segments for quite a bit to get them all lit.

Finally finished the kitchen remodel and these were one of the last to install. Cut it to the length I needed and connected behind the wall to the light switch. I did have an electrician check it all out since it was going behind a slab. Absolutely love the remote control to change the lights. Since I have them high up it’s nice to have. They look really great.

I absolutely love these lights! I initially purchased them to run down my hallway because it is a very dark hallway with no natural light. My father is older, and I didn't like him feeling like he had to walk around with a flashlight at night. These are perfect and I can change the color and brightness any time I want through the app. I have it set for a timer so it automatically comes on and off as I determined, so I have them from sun down to sun up, so there is always light in the hallway for people to safely walk without having to find a switch. I liked it so much, I purchased 2 more. One now lights up my basement steps and one is on my patio lighting up my hot tub area. The remote didn't work well on two of my strips, but it doesn't matter since my Alexa app and the Feit app on my phone both will operate it better than the remote. I've had them up and running for about two months, and I am very happy with them. The adhesive on the lights is VERY strong, so once you stick it you cannot adjust without ripping the wallboard paper/paint behind. On the plus side, that means it is less likely to come down when you don't want it to

Feit Electric Indoor 16 ft. Plug-In/Direct Wire Cuttable/Linkable Integrated LED Seamless Tape Strip Light w/Remote is exactly what I was looking for to light up a curio cabinet we have. The lights are very bright on the highest setting, but perfect for what I wanted on the lowest setting. They are not marked very well as to where to cut to fit, but it it there if you look. The one thing I wish they had was a way to connect so you could “T” them. The connectors that come allow for corners, but they are about 4 inches long and are too large to be hidden. All in all I like the way they work

I picked these Feit Electric Indoor 16 ft. Plug-In Lights with several ideas for potential use. The lights are super thin and flexible. They have plenty of adhesive to install where you choose. I mocked them up under my kitchen cabinets and they looked great but were a little longer than I needed. So I ended up installing them under my kitchen cabinets to give the area some extra light. The install is extremely simple and takes about 15-20 minutes tops. You get everything you need for the install in the box, including the 16ft of tape light, remote, power supply, mounting clips, corner adapters, wood screws and wall anchors. I’ve been happy with the fit and function of the lights.

we had a bulb based undercabinet system and i got tired of changing the bulbs which were not cheap. we saw this and ordered, it arrived in 4 days well packed and in new condition. i was impressed with the overall quality and the number of fittings. the included hardware allow for different configurations. this is a nice rope light and we are very happy with it.

This is the first strip light that doesn’t look like a deli or nail salon window. It is beyond impressive. It comes with a remote control, double sticky tape, and some extenders to get you around corners or even over rough patches. The light is very even and very warm white. And the light is very bright if you want it to be or can be turned down. Whichever brightness you prefer, it’s a decent light and from a trusted name. Take a look at the installation in my kitchen. You’ll agree is looks awesome!

In the past I have used LED tape light to illuminate a kitchen countertop and to up light the fireplace mantle. In each case I made sure the tape LED lamps was not visible in order to avoid the harsh glaring lamps. Feit Electric has solved the issue with their LED seamless tape light. Instead of seeing a row of LED lamps on the tape, what you see is one continuous source of light. In the box you get 16ft of tape light, a remote with battery, power supply, mounting clips, corner adapters, wood screws and wall anchors. The tape light uses a connector to attach to the power supply pig tail without the need to splice or soldier connections. The power supply allows for easy cutting of the AC or DC cable to length with no need for special adapters or splices. The unit can be plugged into a receptacle or direct wired to a in-wall dimmer. With the remote the 2950 Lumens tape light can be dimmed, or set to time out after 1 or 6 hours. The diffused light appears a bright white with a color temp of 3000K with no hot spots. The tape light can be cut to any desired length and different lengths can be re-attached with the tool-less corner adapters. When not powered on the tape appears amber in color. I ran this tape light under two cabinets and around a mirror without any breaks in the tape and only quarter inch holes in the cabinet. The adhesive backing is strong minimizing the number of mounting clips needed. If you are looking for an easy to install tape light with flexible power supply that does away with harsh light, I recommend getting this unit.

I have used numerous LED strips and this is something new. First of all, it is much narrower than the commonly seen strips. It is just 1/4 inch wide! It is a plug and play product, open the box, unroll the LED strip (important otherwise it will melt the plastic roll it comes on) and plug it in! If you are not just laying this along the top of some cupboards, you may want to fasten it onto something. In that case you will want to get some good double sided tape (such as 3M VHB) and not rely on the backing tape that is supplied. (None of those work well.) The remote has a small plastic insert which keeps the battery isolated. Pull that out and hold the power button for 5 seconds - this pairs the light and the remote. The supplied battery is a Duracell CR2032. The remote is solid and seems nicer than the remotes typically supplied with such lighting systems. It has a main power button for on/off, up and down dimming buttons (there seems to be 5 levels of brightness), two timer buttons that switch the light tape off after either 1 hour or 6 hours, and three preset levels of brightness of high, medium and low. The remote provides a good range of functionality. The tape can be cut at half inch intervals. This allows much finer control of lengths than other LED strips which can often only be cut at 4 inch intervals. The tape has a yellow covering that hides the individual LEDs and makes it something you need not hide, so long as you are OK with the bright yellow color (when off). Additionally the kit comes with three joiners which are useful for going around 90 degree bends, and nine mounting clips, and a small set of instructions. The controller comes with a US 120V plug, but you can remove the wires and hardwire it if you prefer. It can also be wired to an AC triac or smart dimmer making it very versatile. Between the 24 Volt power outlet of the controller and the light strip there is a nice bayonet style connector that joins the supply to the strip. This ensures that the cable will not pull apart once installed. Nice. When the power comes on, the light strip always comes on, no matter if it was on or off before losing power. It does remember the brightness setting, so if you left it dimmed low, it will come on low after a power failure. If however, it was off when the power went out, it will switch on when power is restored. The remote on/off button appears to alternate between sending on and off commands. So let’s say we switched the light off, then the power went off and came back on again. Now the light is on. We click the on/off button on the remote - which tries to switch the light on, but does nothing. You have to press the button again to send an ‘off’ command to the light tape. It would be better to have that button send a ‘toggle’ command and let the receiver decide if that means to go on or off. The power controller that is supplied uses between 1.1 Watts and 1.5 Watts when the light is off. That will use about $1.34 per year. When the light tape is on full brightness it uses 35 Watts. The power supply is capable of handling 36 Watts, so I would advise against connecting a second strip to this one as the box suggests is possible: “Connect up to 32 ft.” Altogether this is a nice system. The issue with how it behaves after a power failure, is the only downside. If you wire it to a dimmer switch, it won’t come on after a power failure unless the switch is on. Made in China
