Such an adorable little camera - and it's all packed into a sweet little housing that can be discreetly placed in many different types of decor. You can hide the camera or have it placed out in the open. The size of it will totally surprise you. I'm incredibly impressed at the ease of set up, use within the app, and straightforward downloading of the SD card. I absolutely LOVE that you do not have to subscribe to their cloud service or the like - so there is/are no extra charges.
It's super easy to install and set up. They do tell you up front that you need a 2.4ghz wifi connection to initially get it up and running. Luckily, we have both a 5ghz and a 2.4ghz line set up already.
To initialize the camera, download the Feit Electric App, then just plug it in, wait for a blinking light, then turn your phone screen to the QR code when it tells you to do so. A chime sounds, and it installs all of the necessary parts, and will most likely do a software updates as well. Once that is taken care of you are ready to go.

The Feit Electric HD 1080p Plug-in Wired Indoor Pan/Tilt Wi-Fi Smart IP Security Camera Motion & Sound; Detection Microphone/Speaker had great packing inside its little box. That little guy and all its parts and pieces and instruction sheet were so well protected and not going anywhere. The camera was ready to go right from the box - no hub needed. It was just waiting for me to download the Feit app which took a little while but did not have any hiccups during the download. For my uses, I did not mount it with the included accessories. I am using where I need it for given circumstances - watching the front of my home, inside where pets could be destroying my home while I'm not there, etc. Once I got into the app and entered the Wifi password, it saw the camera right away. I did think the port where the USB cable fit underneath the camera was somewhat difficult to reach. The image from the camera through the app on my phone was very clear/sharp, adequately lit, and had good color. The app allowed for different options like recording video (with micro SD card), taking a photo, 2 way audio, and other standard security camera features. It even allowed me to enlarge the live image in landscape orientation.
However, the only thing I was not impressed with was how slowly and how little the camera responded to my wanting to panning the view. Maybe it was responding correctly but I considered it frustrating having to tap and tap and tap through the app to get the camera to rotate to the left, right, up or down. I don't foresee a need to do this action very often (right now) or with sudden urgency but just think others should know. Maybe an app/software update will fix this in time. There is, of course, always something that I may not have been doing correctly and not be the camera's issue.

I’d been looking for a camera with a good field of view with rotation, tilt and zoom plus sound detection to keep an eye on my anxious pup when home alone, and this one is serving us well!
It sits on an open room divider shelf facing the room where he typically hangs out. It can also rotate to view part of the room behind it. The video quality is very crisp HD.
The sound detection captures his barks, and the app sends a notification. Motion detection works the same way and sees our dog who isn't large, 35lbs, and can adjust the activity capture area to avoid unwanted movements like curtains swaying in the wind. You can even schedule these features to avoid notifications when you're home. Its fun to be able to talk to pup from away too.
If you ceiling-mount the camera with included bracket, it provides a slightly better vertical field of view.
The Feit Electric app is simple to navigate and set features. It allows pinch to zoom but must tap icons to pan and tilt instead of simply dragging finger around the screen. A pet peeve is that it doesn’t automatically expand to full screen video when I rotate my phone to landscape. There's no other useful use for landscape, so why not just go there?.
This camera delivers on features. (BTW I was expecting a white camera but got black.)

I was only able to get these cameras working on my phone, as that is the only Android device I have that can select the required 2.4GHz network. While Feit is far from the only manufacturer that does not support 5GHz, this is becoming a serious issue. More and more devices do not have the ability to select 2.4GHz, unless you have something older, you may find it is impossible to set up these cameras. I like that it is possible to set up the cameras without creating an account with Feit. Once I got past the connection hurdle, I found the daylight picture to be excellent, very sharp and natural. The pan and tilt controls and the picture itself is quite laggy, but that could be the network. The controls are so unresponsive that they barely work at all. Once you get the camera pointed in the right direction, just leave it there. The provided USB cable is nice and long, and is the only one that will fit in the tight space for the connector. The mounting hardware is the flimsiest I have ever seen. There is no standard photographic 1/4-20 threaded socket, just a stick-on plastic base. One good bump, and I think that will be overwith. The SD card slot is hidden below the lens, you have to rotate it up for access. Night vision is surprisingly good, despite having just one tiny IR LED. The app must be a real pig, it barely runs on my phone, and the cameras are incompatible with any other device I have. As I said, this is an industry-wide problem.

Wow - a decent camera with almost no documentation. I liked this camera but found that there basically was no good documentation. Perhaps if you have installed many similar cameras and have a electronics background (which I do), you can eventually figure out how to put a micro sd card into it. But the instructions certainly don't even show you where the sd card slot is located. Anyway, to release the suspense, the sd card slot is found by rotating the camera lens up to its maximum height and that exposes the slot. The camera works good, but the app which operates it is very poor. Motion events are difficult if not impossible to share or download and I have yet to figure out how to unload these videos. So this camera works nicely, but it really needs a much better written app to support it.

Home security without a monthly monitoring fee. The FEIT Electric smart indoor camera was the right solution for us. Download the free app and then everything needed is in the box. The units are small enough to be unobtrusive. They have the functions I wanted pan, tilt, and record - in HD, but requires purchase of Micro-SD card to use the record feature . Also has two way audio which I don’t think I’ll need/use. The night vision is good for 30 feet.
Android app has 3 stars out of 4K reviews and 500K downloads. FEIT does seem to be monitoring and responding to users on the app. Note you have to have WiFi that is a 2.4GHz network.
I called customer service during business hours and connected with a person pretty much right away. They were able to answer my question (auto screening menu routes call directly to the correct person). Made in China. Good product with good support. USA family owned company. Excellent alternative to fee based monitoring.
