Product Details

The Fencer Wire green vinyl coated welded wire can be used for a variety of outdoor applications including, field perimeter, barrier reinforcement, garden security, and chimney protection. The welded mesh design prevent damage and will not loosen when cutting. The PVC coating offers a decorative and polished look to most yards and natural surroundings, also gives it a long and reliable lifespan.

A:  Dear Judy, When cutting the Fencer Wire 2 ft. x 50 ft. 16-Gauge Green PVC Coated Welded Wire Fence with Mesh Size 3 in. x 2 in. you can use a 24 in. bolt cutters. Check out our selection of bolt cutters on our website at homedepot.com and then just type in 24 in bolt cutters.

        A:  Probably but we actually cut it into two fifty foot lengths, two feet high, and used to keep animals out of our front yard.

          A:  No, You will need 14GA at least for cucumber. Depends on what size and qty of the melons, you might need 8GA for that.

                  I bought this to surround my back yard to keep my two shih-tzus from chasing everyone and everyth...
                  I bought this to surround my back yard to keep my two shih-tzus from chasing everyone and everything. It was really easy to install. I purchased the 3' u-posts and a bag of zip ties. The fence attached to the posts without needing anything else for the most part. We used the zip ties to reinforce where two pieces of wire met or where the hooks on the post were bent. Used a regular hammer to drive in the posts. It really helps to have two people, one to pull the fence taut and the other to bend it around the post hooks. We used a post every 6' or so. I tried to space it out to 8-10' but the fence is too flimsy for that. My dogs are about 12 lbs and are not jumpers so this is perfect and an economical way to keep them in the yard. Since the fence is green it does blend in to the surroundings. The poles are what you notice. I'm planting bushes around the edge of the property and this will blend right in.
