Nasturtium Jewel Mixed Colors Seed

Product Overview

Our Jewel Nasturtium will produce semi-double slightly ruffled, fragrant blossoms that are held up above foliage, not hidden. The long stems give way to a delightful range of delicate colors. This mix of jewels include yellow, orange and scarlet with a sprinkling of mahogany, ruby and cherry rose. The flowers and leaves will make a tasty, peppery addition to salads and vegetables.

Did Not Germinate
Planted 7 weeks ago, none sprouted. Have right soil, drains well, lots of sunshine. Watched them closely everyday

good so far!
Arrived as advertised. Plants are growing nicely. No problems or issues. Can't wait for the flowers!
Happy so far
Arrived packaged nicely. Sprouted and coming up now.
We had never tried nasturtium before but decided to get some peat pots and try it out. After sanding the seeds a bit before planting, as recommended, they sprouted quickly and are now enormous foot-wide plants. We knew they were edible, but hadn't tried them until today. The leaves have a taste very similar to rocket, but with a slightly softer texture like the edge of a collard green. A salad with some julienned leavees, dried fruit and vinegar might be my new favorite thing. They haven't flowered yet, but a few have buds, so I am sure that's coming. Absolutely thrilled with this experience growing from seeds for the first time.

Good gemination
I planted these directly in my window boxes and the germination was fast and plentiful. Will have to update when the plants flower.

Not what I expected
I purchased 10 packs of the Jewel mixed color seeds and expected to have jeweled mixed color flowers. The plants have grown but there are no jewel colors there all green. I planted them May 3, 2014.
