What is the inside dimensions I need something that will fit a 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 post
This molding is designed to fit snug over the 5" x 5" Fiberon post sleeve. It will not accommodate a smaller sleeve/post size.
What are the external dimensions of the base?
Thank you for your question. The outside dimension of the post base skirt is 7 inches square, so it adds an inch to each of the sides of the sleeve.

I bought a couple 6 x 8 columns but the actual size is 5 1/4 x 8.
