About This Product
Small leaks can have expensive consequences. The First Alert L1 Wi-Fi Water Leak & Freeze Detector device can potentially reduce water damage risk by sending alerts directly to your smart phone. You will also receive alerts about temperature drops that could result in freezing pipes and temperature spikes which may indicate HVAC system fail. This device will help determine if there's too much or not enough humidity in your home and send you an alert if there's a problem. Additionally, the device has a 100 dBA audible alarm, so you can hear it throughout your home.

So far so good

But the installation is pretty easy, you can have the app and see the humidity which is a cool feature. I hope work if I have a water leak in the future, but so far so good!

This really works

I got an alert from the resideo app that we had a leak and sure enough, the there was a leak in one of the pipes! This saved us so much, we were able to quickly fix the issue without any damage!

Good quality First Alert device

Easy to use

Now with this great little tool that’s got WiFi & an app to notify you of a leak, humidity, freezes, & so much more. A great way to be alert & save yourself some money & annoying insurance claims when damage occurs. It was super easy to install & use the app. The app has a great user interface. Easy to use.
I didn’t realize there was a USAA program with this product. It’s a great extra tool to have.

Peace of mind
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this and I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect as I hadn’t ever heard of a freeze and leak detector. After installing it, which was quick and easy to do, we had a drastic drop in temperatures in our area. We installed it under our kitchen sink because it is on an outer wall in the house. We dripped the faucet but the peace of mind that we would get an alert if there was a problem is priceless. We have also had leaks in this area in the past. We never did get an alert, but it is super nice knowing we will if there ever is an issue.

Good WiFi leak detection
