                Handle broke
I used this a handful of times in my yard. I'm not pleased with the quality as I know how to use loppers and when to bring out a saw. I expected this to be a quality product that would last me many years. I'd recommend getting something else if you don't want to be buying a new pair of loppers every couple of years with even light usage.

Twigs tend to get lodged between the handle and linkage system resulting in the shears not closing. My first pair broke within 30 days of the 90 day return period. I returned it, got a new one, and the second pair broke a month after the 90 day period. The photo shows after the twig was removed. The loppers will not close any further.

                  Great for trimming small limbs
I have been using these for 2 years now and they are fantastic to use for limbing small trees. These are easy to squeeze together to get a good cut. These are hands down the easiest loppers that I have ever used. The handle is very ergonomic and comfortable to to continuously trim limbs. These have met my expectations and there isn't anything that I dislike about them.

I have been using these for three years. It will cut 2" green oak braches with no problems. If you have a home owner chipper you need a pair of these to prepare braches to go thru the chipper. The blade has never chipped. Best and easiest to use lopper I have ever had. If it broke I would buy another one. (I didn't register the lifetime warranty)

The loppers were easy to use and really smooth, but I broke the titanium plate in half within 10 minutes of using them. I was cutting a 1in diameter stump and the plate just broke. I really liked them, I'm hoping the plate was just defective since it looked like there was some rust along the broken edge. Taking them back and hopefully I will get a new pair for free

The PowerGear Titanium 32 in. Bypass Lopper has been recalled due to handle breakage. Contact Fiskars. I have used this lopper for some serious pruning over two weekends. It is without a doubt the most powerful lopper I have used. It will cut 2" branches with very reasonable effort. It requires less effort than my trusty Corona compound lopper of the same size. However, the handles must be almost straight out from each other for large cuts. Make sure that you have adequate space. See picture. I do have reservations about the blade. I thought "titanium" would make it more durable but that does not seem to be the case. The blade is already starting to dull and has some pitting. I think the Corona blade took two years to show this much wear. Not sure if the "titanium" is a Home Depot exclusive but it is a major oversight that they do not stock blades. Overall it is a great product and cuts large branches with minimal effort. I wonder if the non titanium blades hold up a little better.

LOVE THE LOPPER BUT HATE THE BLADE
I love the Lopper but the blade will need to be replaced frequently depending on how often you use it. It can not be sharpened. I made a mistake by sharpened it and now it is useless. There isn't enough material to grind off and still allow the loppers to make a clean cut. I wish Home Depot carry the replacement blades in their stores instead of having to order it from Fiskar’s site and pay heavy shipping. I would like to share my experience with the blades only from 3 different models of PowerGear that I have used. 1st one: 32 in Titanium PowerGear (purchased from Home Depot in 2014) - blade is thicker and last the longest. 2nd one: 32 in Ultra Blade Power Gear (Lowe's version) - the blade had a 3/4 inches chip after 3 days of use 3rd one: 32 in Titanium PowerGear2 (Home Depot’s newer version) - the blade is smaller and thinner, I use it about a week and the blade has developed dents already. I do not think it will last much longer. Home Depot does not carry the original Titanium PowerGear in their stores anymore even though the Website still shows they do. They only carry PowerGear2. I do not like the PowerGear2 and hope they bring the original one back. Fiskar’s warranty department process claims very slow. It will take at least a month before you will get a replacement.

                        Loppers with lots of power.
These geared loppers provide such a mechanical advantage that even my two year old grandson could cut a branch. Granted it was laying on the ground. That advantage does mean, however, that you have to open the handles to about 180 degrees to cut the bigger branches. It makes it harder to cut branches in a crowded tree. The loppers are strong and well built with areas of softer plastic for a comfortable grip.

                        Good and Strong
These loppers are good, strong, and sharp. The long handles provide great leverage when lopping off thick branches. The loppers can open up to cut a limb to about 2 inches in diameter. They are very sharp and slice though branches with ease. You do have to use some elbow grease when cutting a 2 inch branch but they do slice through nice and clean leaving you with a smooth cut.
