A: Thank you for contacting Fiskars. The pruner on this tool is an edge-hardened steel that is sharpened to a fine edge, and will slice cleanly through branches up to 1 1/8" thick with just a pull of the rope. The saw has very sharp aggressive WoodZig® teeth, so the sawblade feels like it pulls itself into the branch while cutting.
A: Never heard of a Corona pole saw but this is pretty sharp.
A: It is sharp and cuts easily. I have not used the Corona so do not know which is better.
A: Thank you for contacting Fiskars. This tree pruner is capable of cutting branches up to 1-1/8 in. thick.
A: Thank you for contacting Fiskars. All of the new long handled tree pruners have been fixed and have been redesigned.
A: no，for light use only
A: I roll it on the rope handle.
A: When using the item as a saw, I park the in-point of the rope in the joint that operates the blade. I slightly open the joint and then lay the rope into that crook. Then, the bottom the rope sits around the middle of the pole.
A: I wrap it around the handle and have a green plant/bush tie holding it down.
A: Thank you for contacting Fiskars. You can either loop the excess rope around your hand a few times, or you can tie the rope loosely around the middle or end of the pole and pull on it from above your ties spots. The loose rope will maintain its position based on where you tied/looped it on the pole.
