Q:Is the regular size dependent? For example will it fit two 100 lb tanks

Answer This Question

A:  Yes it will fit 2 100# tanks. Used it on 2 tanks for 3 years now. Works great.

A:  You will need the Propane Adapter for POL Tank Valve to QCC1 Connection with Hand Wheelfor to the 100lbs tank to connect to the regulator.

    by|Nov 19, 2022

A:  For 100lb tanks you would need different size pigtails. These are designed for the smaller standard propane tanks. Your best option is to buy the regulator without the pigtails and then get hoses that fit the 100lb tanks. The pigtails you need should have ends that attach to a POL valve.

Q:can i run both tanks at once

          Answer This Question

A:  You can pull propane from both tanks at the same time if the lever is left in the center, however this will deplete both tanks at the same time so you will not be able to refill one of the tanks while still using the second one. That is why it is recommended to only use one tank at a time by pointing the lever to one side.

This product sucks. Both green plastic knobs broke off the hoses within the first 30 days. Good thing I kept my old setup. Had to use my old hoses witch are 12 years old by the way and made in the USA!

Two 30 lb. propane tanks = two days emergency power
A 2200 watt inverter with a hutch mountain propane conversion can provide sufficient power for a refrigerator, freezer, telephone, one television and a few low watt lights during power outage. With a change over and two slightly larger LPG tanks (30 pound) there is sufficient fuel for two days. This is a project for August 2020 and will be completed after all the parts arrive.

It is a great deal for the price. It's much better than many others I looked at and that I've used. I will get more if needed. I just ordered another as a back-up
