48 in. Rectangular Walnut 1-Drawer Standing Desk with Programmable Presets and USB Charging and Collision Protection

This is the coolest desk I've ever seen! I have a fussy back that really prohibits me from sitting too long on a chair, so I do most of my desk work on a desk I made myself, designed specifically so I could stand at it to get work done. Never did I dream someone would create a desk like this one! This desk... levitates! You can lower the desk for normal sit-down work, and then press a button and the entire desktop rises so you can stand and do your work! It's simply amazing! I can't rave about it enough! Let me hit a few highlights. The first is the assembly. There are nineteen machine-fitted to precision alignment screws. They hit EXACTLY where they are supposed to go and go in perfectly. In my years of putting things together, I've concluded that the EXCELLENT products tend to have perfection in the alignment of screws. Not close... PERFECT. They go in as they should and they tighten just as they should. There are a few wires to plug into the proper slots, but again the Flexispot people went the extra mile and made sure these few connections could ONLY go in the proper plugs by making each one unique to the job. In short, you can't get things plugged in incorrectly. Thanks to that, the wiring takes less than five minutes and will leave you smiling. The desk even comes with a drawer and here again, no corners were cut. It is a top-notch drawer with solid, heavy-duty slides that will likely last forever! Finally, there's the desktop itself. It is a solid thing of beauty. The black finish is simply marvelous! Then... at the push of a button, it RISES up to whatever height you require. And it does so silently! Just a terrific, top-notch product in every way! There are USB ports as well! It's just a wonderful desk that I couldn't recommend any higher! Do be aware, this desk is a bit heavy, and that means a second set of hands would be helpful when you're getting ready to assemble it and then move it, due to the impressive weight. I'm not saying it's a thousand pounds, but It's probably in the neighborhood of maybe 75 pounds, so another helper would come in handy for sure. Oh, and the weight limit on top of the desk is 100 pounds (since it goes up and down). In short, this one is TEN Stars!

Prior to getting the Flexispot standing desk, I was using a repurposed dinning table. What a difference to have a dedicated desk, and one that is adjustable in height from 30” to 49” at the touch of a button. Being able to adjust the height means I can work standing up, hunched over, or sitting down throughout the day. The entire desk comes in a well-protected box weighing over 100 lbs. Assembly consist of attaching the lifting columns, feet, and making a few electrical connections. All the needed hardware and tools come in a pre-labeled pouch with decent instruction manual. The manual falls short when it comes to making the electrical connections, but as each cable has a unique connector it would be impossible to miswire. The height control unit has three mounting holes, but due to an overhang only two of the mounting screws will attach. Still the two are enough to hold it in place. The unit includes a power adapter which is hidden away with the use of hoop and loop. Once assembled the desktop can hold up to 99 lbs. on the MDF surface which measures 47.5” x 23.5”. The included drawer has a dampened closure and is big enough to be useful. The finish is smooth without any visible defects and a decorative trim is visible on all four sides. The right-side features 3 USB power only connectors for charging mobile devices. A total of four different height levels can be programmed, along with independent up and down control. The feet have adjustable pads for uneven floors. The only thing missing is a built-in power strip, which would have made for only a single cable coming off the desk. Yet overall, I am pleased with the look, materials, function, and usefulness of this standing desk.

Look, bottom line first, if you are reading this review and you are shopping for a good quality, solidly built desk, this one beat my expectations. In my opinion this is a GREAT option and without hesitation, is my recommendation, I am impressed. It was super easy to assemble (4 steps). I am totally impressed by how solidly built this is. It has some nice features such as a motorized height adjustment, it even has a feature like a garage door opener to stop and reverse downward movement if it hits an obstruction (like your legs). Also, you can program height presets. It has 2 USB-A and 1 USB-C ports. Nice sized for working but not taking over your whole space. Seriously if you are looking for a nice functional strong good looking desk STOP, you just found it. Nice work FlexiSpot!
