A: Hi Patricia. HD does not sell Australian Floetrol - at least not in my area. If you are wanting it for artistic painting techniques such as blooming, etc., I have seen artists on YouTube mix American Floetrol with Minwax pre stain wood conditioner to achieve amazing paintings. The conditioner comes in both oil and water based. I have seen only the oil based used. I have not yet tried this technique myself. As the Australian is quite pricey and harder to come by, and a small can of the Minwax pre-stain is only about $7, it might be worth a try. 'Meta Pours Fluid Art' is one I know has a recipe video. Hope my answer is relevant to what you wanted it for!
A: It is white (or was that last time I bought it 3 years ago) but does not change the color of what it is added to.
A: It is white. however it doesn't change the color of the paint until you go over 30% added volume.
A: slows drying time so that ongoing painting blends before drying
A: This will do the trick. It slows drying by a few hours, depending on how thick you paint. I used it with paintbrush as well as roller on kitchen cabinets and they are perfect. I rolled then touched up with brush. No strokes at all. Highly recommend.
