Does the water come on at the flow level that is set by the lever position?
Asked by: watersaver
Yes, the temp and force you leave the handle in, is how the water comes on when the sensor is blocked.

Box was damaged but seemed to have no affect on the product as it is well packaged. Installation was straight-forward and as stated in other reviews it was harder to get the previous faucet out than it was to install the new faucet. It should be noted that this faucet (chrome finish) is plastic not metal. Quality, fit, and finish are good. Motion sensing works better than I thought it would and I like the pull down sprayer auto-on/auto-off feature My only issue after installation and testing, is that the swing of the nozzle seems pretty loose. Could be just a little bit stiffer to hold left or right sink position. There looks like like possibly a set screw under a plastic cover at the swivel/pivot are of the nozzle but without being referenced in instructions I was leery of seeing if I was correct. I would recommend this product to someone that is looking for a good faucet but not necessarily looking for top-of-the-line.

Was quite hesitant to purchase a motion sensor kitchen faucet, but since I do a lot of cooking and baking for others, I am constantly washing my hands and tired of cleaning the handles after each use. I absolutely love this product! Sensor works from about 3" away so that there is no accidental "turn-on" when placing items in the sink. Another nice feature is that the water will turn on automatically when utilizing the spray head as a "pull-down nozzle" and, will automatically shut off while returning it back to the faucet. Installation was relatively easy, but I did need to secure the sensor component to the back portion of my cabinet (underneath the sink) with a drill, as another reviewer had stated. I also had to slightly angle the faucet so that I could turn on the hot water all the way. Hope the product works for a long time, but it does come with a 5-yr, full manufacturer's warranty!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's ok but not great Had it installed for 1 day and the pivoting handle started to leak. Looks like there's no easy way to service it. You have to make sure you have room for the weight to freely move under the sink or the nozzle will not pull out or return correctly because the weight gets caught on the under sink plumbing for the drain/dishwasher...ect. The photo eye setup is more of a gimmick because it doesn't work well if it gets water splashed on it, so I opened up the manual valve on the controller so we could just use the handle. With this setup, it's either use the photo eye or use the manual mode, not both. The price point is good, but because of the handle leaking, it's going back and I will purchase another brand that will be more reliable. It will cost me more money than this to go with another brand, but if i can't trust it not to leak all over my counter and down my wall and onto the floor ruining thousands of dollars worth of hardwood then it's garbage to me.

Being able to turn the thing on and off using the sensor when my hands are messy is the exact reason I decided to buy it. Another plus is that nobody has to touch it with cold/flu season coming up. The biggest drawback is having to touch it to adjust the temperature if you want something different than where you preset it, but it's really not that big of a deal as you can still "bump" it without having to full on grab the handle. The high neck and pull down sprayer (which also turns on and off automatically btw) makes washing bigger pots easier. Love it so far! I hope it lasts as long as my old "name brand" faucet did, especially since it took some coaxing for my husband to go against getting a name brand one to make me happy. I normally wouldn't have ordered the bronze, but it looks great in my kitchen since my cabinets/counter tops are dark. Oh, and like many other reviews I read before buying, uninstalling your old one will most likely be the worst part of the job. Installation was fairly simple.

I was skeptical about automatic water dispensing faucets but decided to give this one a try because I got it for half price during the holiday sales period. Set up was easy. I like the fact that the nut holding the faucet in place underneath the sink is one where you handturn to tighten, then utilize two set screws built into the nut to further tighten the faucet in place as a phillips screwdriver was all that was needed. You will need a drill to secure the sensor component to the back portion of the cabinet underneath the sink. Pay attention to the suggested measurements to maximize the sensors capabilities. After getting used to it, our whole family loves the new faucet. Not having to touch the handle except for desired flow and temperature is a plus, and even then, just find the flow and temperature setting for most kitchen duties and you are set. The sensor is responsive and I have no issues turning it on or off.

I wasn't sure about the value of the hands free option when I bought this faucet, and I'm still getting used to it so too early to make a judgement. It is nice to wave your hand in front to have it start, but it was never a hassle to move the lever in the first place. Sometimes you need to run the water on hot to get the temperature just right, so you need to grab the regular handle anyway. But overall I do like the faucet. A few comments: 1. Shiny pans can set the sensor off from farther away than your hands, that's a pain. 2. The battery box is hard to access and you can't unhook it to bring it out to an easier place to pry the old batteries out. I haven't had to do it yet, but I don't look forward to lying under the sink trying to reach the batteries. 3. Not sure why, but the faucet doesn't hold its position when you move it left and right. At the far ends of travel it starts to slide back to the center when you let it go. Not the best when you're trying to fill a pot.

It hasn't even been installed for a year and this is my second time having to get replacement parts. The faucet leaks water from the handle. The company knows of this defect and continued to sell the defective model. You have to contact the company to get a replacement cartridge to stop the leaking. They also make you sign a waiver saying that if you damage or scratch the faucet while having to take it apart to fix it, that they are not responsible. I am not a plumber and don't feel comfortable pulling apart my brand new faucet. I also don't feel I should be responsible for fixing their faulty items, in which they sold knowing of the defect. I inquired about getting a newer model without the defect and was told I would have to return this unit first and wait on a replacement. So not only is that another plumbing charge but that leaves me without water in my kitchen while waiting on an actual first quality unit. Really disappointed in this but I guess this is the quality you get when shopping Home Depot. (You get what you pay for, right?)

I have been looking for automatic sensor faucet for a long time, which is efficient, durable with affordable price. I read lots of good reviews on this faucet, but still, hesitant to buy. I am thrilled that I purchased this new faucet. It was easy to install. I like using the sensor and the spray. Moreover, my kitchen looks great with this new faucet.
