Do you have a handle lever to fit a 1 3/4 hole in tank

I can not get this to work with the American Standard toilet that I have. Any suggestions?
The key to making the side lever work is to point the arm at an angle toward the front wall of your toilet tank. The angle will force the lever to “lift up” and will work in lifting the flapper. Have you tried turning the circular part the arm is attached to in order to adjust the arm to the correct position?
After the handle is snapped in, is there a way to remove it for miner adjustments?
Yes there is. You just give the lever handle a pull and it will come off the post.
Yes, very simple to adjust the handle or plunger cord extender.
Yes it was easy to snap in the handle. The lever had to be adjusted which required some force. It worked well.
I know this is unusual but I am answering my own question. Yes you can. I took the chance and pulled gently applying even pressure and it popped off. I was concerned that because the shaft being made of plastic doing so might damage the groove holding it on. All I wanted to do is reposition the handle from pointing down a little too much for my taste and didn’t want to ruin a brand new handle just for aesthetics but it was bugging me so I went ahead it. Worked out fine and looks great.
