The Forney 38073 rosin core solder is 1/16 in. (1.59 mm). The weight of the wire is 1/4 lbs. (4 oz.). The grade is 60/40 tin-lead. The tensile strength is 6900. The melting temperature is 375°F (190°C). Claims for warranty must be made within 90 days of the date of purchase. Proof of purchase required. A: NO, Use only solid-core solder. Never use acid or rosin core solder for stained glass.
