I thought it might not work while I was holding it, because I'm such a stud, but Franklin was not...
I thought it might not work while I was holding it, because I'm such a stud, but Franklin was not distracted at all. It works great, and it has already come in handy for several more projects than the one I bought it for (hung all these cabinets on my garage).

Best Stud Finder Ever!!!!
If your like me and you want acuurate results 100% of the time then this product is for you. It detects studs all the time and you dont need to calibrate it or hold tool firmly on surface then slide it back and forth. It will automatically detect stud even when you press button while tool is not making contact with wall and then as soon as the stud finder touches wall you will see the leds illuminate. Also great feature is theres NO ANNOYING beeping sound. BATTERIES ARE NOT INCLUDED takes 2 AA.

Works like a charm!
I'm not very mechanically-inclined, so knowing very little bought a Franklin M150, based on my internet research, in conjunction w/ availablability at my local Home Depot.
The HD salesperson actually recommended another brand, but I was more impressed w/ what I'd read about this one, as well as the info on the packaging, & I'm sure glad I got it.
It worked flawlessly & easily, as described, not only detecting the studs, but delineating the exact middle, for the strongest anchor-superb product!
