This is a Poly urethane hose. Best practice for this to lay flat is to stretch it out before the first use, and give it a good tug at both ends, with another person. You will hear the fibers snapping inside, this will make it lose its coil memory and it will stay relatively flat and coil free going forward.

Where is this Freeman hose made?

It is made in the USA.

I didn’t realize how heavy it is. I do roofing, and so it is very heavy to use for roofing. I’m only using the hose as a lead hose. It’s good quality, not good for using roofing nailers, too heavy for what I needed it for.
