Expand the life of your ties and optimize your gas mileage with the Freeman FATDTI Digital Tire Inflator with LCD Pressure Gauge. It makes it easy to frequently check the pressure of your tires. Simply connect the inflator to your tires using the brass clip-on chuck to measure pressure in increments of 0.1 PSI or switch to KPA, Bar or Kg/sq.cm. When used alongside a pneumatic compressor, you can refill tires with an accuracy of +/- 1 PSI. The lock-on brass chuck adds a secure attachment to prevent air leakage, and the 20 in. flexible rubber hose and swivel hose connector make it easy to use the inflator in tight spaces. Squeeze the pistol-style trigger to inflate your tires or release pressure by pressing and holding the pressure release valve until your reach your desired pressure. The Digital Tire Inflator with LCD Pressure Gauge is constructed of a durable, lightweight aluminum alloy and includes a rust resistant brass 1/4 in. NPT fitting and two AAA batteries.

I love this inflator. Adding air to my tires is so much quicker and easier with the attached pressure gauge and the bleeder valve. I leave it attached to my portable compressor so it's always ready to go when I need to add air.

I like the fact that it only takes one hand to put it on the valve and it locks tight. You can select which pressure reading you would like I chose pounds. The digital readout is nice and large and easy to read. If you get a little to much air there is a button to let some of the air out right next to the gauge. I use a small portable air compressor to move around the car instead of running a long air hose from the garage, my choice! I even has a light to show the pressure in case you are in a not so well light area.

Easy to check the tire pressure, Easy to add air and Easy to lower the air pressure. I find it very useful when airing up bicycle tires that have higher air pressures. I would recommend this for any one that checks their own air pressure on any type of tires.

This tire inflation tool attaches to your air compressor and provides accurate air pressures. The battery operated (2 AAA batteries, which are supplied with the unit) LED allows easy reading, without a need to hold a flashlight in dark areas, and ensures your tire pressure is as accurate as possible, in order to achieve the best possible fuel mileage with your vehicle. This tool also has a thumb activated deflator, so there is no need to remove the valve stem connector if you have an over-inflated tire. Finally, this tire inflation tool has the ability to quickly toggle from American to metric measurements. I highly recommend this item for a professional or the backyard automotive enthusiasts.

Great product for the price, the feel of quality and a bright clear screen. I need to wear glasses and I can easily read the screen without glasses. My daughter can easily fill a tire to the correct pressure easily and accurately. I can see this being a nice stocking stuffer for my older kids this Christmas. Nice Product. I love it.

Very versatile inflator and pressure gauge
I have been on the hunt for a tire inflator set up like this for a while and jumped at the chance to try this one out. There were two key considerations - a flexi hose to allow me to get to the inside rear tires on our dually truck and the locking clamp on the valve chuck that tightly fixes the chuck to the valve stem for a no-leak fill. The easy to read LED digital pressure gauge is a bonus.
Getting started is easy since two AAA batteries are included. You can use this as a pressure gauge even when the air hose is not connected and as an inflator by connecting it to a compressor using a normal 1/4" female NPT air hose socket.
Aside of the ability to check and fill the normal Schrader style valves found on tires on most cars, motorcycles, bicycles, trailers etc. the air chuck also fits the old style valves on our '57 Ford Thunderbird (see pics).
I also found that the locking clamp makes filling our portable air tank easy as I can just squeeze the trigger until the air tank is full. As the tank is filling, I can see the air pressure coming from the compressor on the digital gauge and compare this to the analog pressure gauge on the air tank. I was able to take some pics of both gauges as I was filling the tank and the pressures were virtually identical so the digital gauge appears to be quite accurate.
The digital pressure gauge stays illuminated as long as the trigger is being squeezed and then switches off a few seconds later to save the battery. The digital gauge readout can be adjusted between PSI, Kg/cm, Kpa and BAR using a touch button on the dial. The pressure gauge is also housed in a protective rubber molding to shield it from impacts and accidental drops.
If you need to let some air out of the tire, a small brass button can be pressed which allows air to escape while still being able to read the LED pressure gauge, which takes some of the guess work out of the deflating process.
When not in use, a built in metal loop on the top of the handle allows the inflator to be stored on a hook (our is now stored next to our compressor hose reel). It also comes with a 7 year limited warranty.
The Freeman tire inflator with LED display is very easy to use. It comes with 2 AAA batteries which power the LED display. Connect the inflator to an air source, depress the clip on the air chuck lever and press firmly onto the tire valve stem. If you hear air leaking out of the tire you are not securely attached to the valve stem. Depress the ON/OFF switch and then press the FUNC button and select the desired unit (PSI, Kpa or Bar). Press the orange trigger to inflate tire. The display will increase as the pressure in the tire increases. Release the trigger once the desired pressure is reached and remove the air chuck from the tire stem. There is a pressure relief button to deflate the pressure in the tire.
SO EASY TO USE
Just clamp the air chuck on and squeeze trigger, let go when you see your pressure. If you have too much pressure just push the thumb button and let some out. You can watch the pressure going up or down. Very comfortable in the hand. The only thing I would change is the direction the dial faces. I personally would prefer to be able to rotate the stem so the dial points more up towards my face than sideways. But just cock your hand a little and you can read the dial ok. Hose is 19 inches long and the dial is protected against damage by a ridged rubber bumper that will absorb a lot of shock. You also have a choice of 4 pressure scales; PSI, KPA, Bar or Kgf/cm2. The backlight LED shuts off after 20 seconds of non-use and comes back on as soon as used again.
