Q:Does this keep ice frozen for future use?

A:  No, it holds it for a bit but, it will melt definitely and gets back into the water reserve / not bad at all and makes ice pretty good and quick

    A:  Yes it does but it’s hard to get the ice out unless you get a scooper and by the way the water is not cold when it comes out. I was disappointed in it and took it back for a full refund. For someone that doesn’t mind tap water flavor. You can have unfiltered water in it but it’s not cold. I did though love the ice cubes it made. They were small and round and easy to chew or crush but if I were going to buy something to have ice I would pick the Frigidaire they have with just the ice maker, no water.

      A:  The water actually recycles. The ice cubes fall into the bin, as they slowly melt, that water is returned to the ice maker section of the unit to make fresh cubes.

          A:  No, most portable ice makers are not designed to keep ice cold and frozen. They do not have the insulation to keep the ice from melting. Any unused or remaining ice cubes will slowly melt over time and replenish water back into the bottom water reservoir.

            A:  It will make small or large cone shaped cubes. It does not do crushed ice.

            A:  No you have to put water right inside on the left if your facing the machine. I put aborted of water it was like 20 oz. or so and I let it run all night with the ice maker on so I had enough today and it only used up a 3rd of the water so it’s really user friendly!!! Hope that helps!!

            rusty screws
            I have had my ice maker for less than a year. screws are already rusted. it is like they just chose whatever screws were laying around. this rust is getting into the ice and water and is going to ruin the machine!!!

                Not happy
                I thought i would be able to connect to my water supply. The place they have to add the water makes no sense water spills everywhere. Definitely was not what I expected
