Can Frog tape be used on pavement?
Thank you for your question! The tape should stick; however, depending on your application, it may not be the best tape to use.
Hi Dana, Yes, it can be. Might be one of the few surfaces that exist that when you remove the tape, it won't pull the paint and suface off on the back side of the tape. 3M Delicate tape sold by Home Depot is a far superior option than this tape.
Can this tape be used on brick surfaces? We need to spray paint our outdoor shutters as they have faded over the years - we may not have the option to remove the shutters, but paint them while still mounted on the brick (house). Please advise! We would be putting the tape around the shutters so as to not get spray paint on the house!
Yes absolutely. Just make sure you have a decently clean surface to apply the tape to and you're golden.
Thank you for your question! Taping off a textured surface is difficult because it is hard to lay the tape down completely flat. You could use the FrogTape and then run a bead of painting caulk along the edge to add more protection against paint bleed, especially if the brick is porous or is unpainted.
won't work well on brick, works well on flat surfaces. Might as well use the regular blue tape.
