A: No it cannot be use for the botton
A: No for sides a d top.
A: No will not work opening and closing the door will destroy it
A: No, its for the door frame seal
A: No only top left and right this seals only when the door pushes against it
A: With the old one completely removed you will have a slot in the wood to push in the new one. Cut to length of the old one first. Hope that helps.
A: just push the ribbed section of the door seal into the kerf cut in the jamb (Kerf cut is a groove cut into the wood jamb). Don't use any adhesive as these need to be replaced every few years. If there is no kerf cut, you are using the wrong product. There is a similar product with a metal flange to attach by screws.
A: Neither. This door weatherstrip is designed to fit int a slot on the door stop nd does not need adhesive. If your door does not have the pre-cut lot, then this will not work.
A: It fits into the groove in the jamb. No glue or adhesive needed.
A: The narrow edge pokes into a groove around the edge of the door. No adhesive or staples were used.
A: This style is designed to replace the original seal. It slips into an existing slot in the door facing. Just pull the old seal out and slip the new seal in. If your door did not come with this seal originally, you need to buy a different design of seal.
A: Fill gaps up to 11/16 in. Straight from this site's description. The 1" is the overall, not gap seal width.
A: It is still and always 1”. The gap it is sealing can vary but the overall dimension is still the same.
A: We do not make this in Black. Only Brown or White.
