A: This might not provide the long term solution but will work in a pinch.
A: No, it will not work for this. It is not designed to keep sub-freezing temperatures 24-7. The manufacturer should be able to get you a replacement or tell you where to buy.
A: No. The freezer door force is not sufficient to keep it closed. If you have a latch to the freezer door, yes. Otherwise, no.
A: A painted surface painted less than 120 days can hold the non-adhesive side of the foam tape. the warmer it is, the more likely it is to hold it. Paint takes time to cure, depending on what surface is painted.
A: My cat had scratched off the bottom striping from around my front door so I had to replace it ! Even tho I had washed and remove all the old adhesive the sticky part just would not stick every morning the first person out the door it just fell off when the door opened ! so I used gorilla glue on the sticky part put it back up and it's wonderful !
A: We have paint but we didnt have any issues with it sticking. I just wonder if its the type of paint some others have that its reacting to or maybe its the weather temperature they are applying it in. Warmer days and humidity come into play. It could also be some of the adhesive got on the other side. Thats a product issue. Again we havent had that problem with ours.
A: sticky on one side.
A: It's sticky on only the one side that attaches to the door/window frame. Otherwise you'd glue your window shut! Which is, I think, what FrostKing was trying to say :)
A: It is sticky on one side only.
A: It is sticky on one side only. If it were sticky on two sides when applied to a window or door, you would be able to open the door or window.
A: Only sticky on one side, the other side has paper on it to prevent the stripping from stretching when it is being applied. Once the stripping is applied, the paper peels right off.
A: Use spray Goof Off with a single edge razor.
A: just pull it ... though its too sticky and difficult to completely get it off, but you can remove it after putting some efforts.
A: If there is any residue left, use an ice cube to moisten and freeze the residue. Then just rub the remainder off.
