The Fypon 24" x 24" Round White Polyurethane Gable Louver Vent was shipped fast and was well packaged. I had to replace an old wood gable vent in a brick house that had rotted. The Fypon gable vent was actually 24.25" x 24.25 ". I was able to sand down the sides of the Fypon gable vent very easily to make it fit the hole. Painting it was very easy. Make sure the gable vent is free of any smudges before painting, or the paint won't adhere well. I used an electric paint sprayer and took out the staples in the back of the gable vent to remove the fiberglass mesh prior to painting it. After painting, it was easy to reuse the staples to put the rear mesh back on. During installation of the gable vent I used nails, but if I had to do it again, I'd use long wood screws as it would make installation easier using a drill. After installing the gable vent, I sealed around the side openings with sealant to prevent water intrusion.

They're OK I guess
I went with this brand and style through Home Depot because the picture shows 7 slat holes, but the picture isn't the 12 inch, it must be the 18 inch. The 12 inch only has 4 holes, likely won't push enough air through.
These are also made out of foam, I doubt they will stand up to anything, and most likely I will be returning them and buying a better quality item from somewhere else.

The vent is very well made. My opening is 23...
The vent is very well made. My opening is 23 7/8s so I need to cut it down 1/8 inch. I haven’t found a contractor to help put it up.
I would recommend this vent but like someone else commented it is just a hair to big for the hole.

I knew when I ordered the oval fypon attic vent...
I knew when I ordered the oval fypon attic vent it needed to have a 1/2 “ diameter taken off but it was a breeze with a jigsaw. Went in perfectly and looks fantastic. Client was very satisfied.
