TimberTex Premium Ridge Cap Shingles will accentuate the natural beauty of your newly installed GAF shingle roof. The special double-layer design adds depth and dimension to your roof that traditional single-layer ridge caps cannot provide, while offering critical protection at the high-stress areas of your roof (hips and ridges). TimberTex Premium Ridge Cap Shingles are specifically color-blended to complement your GAF shingles, unlike cut-up 3-tab shingles used as ridge caps.
  • Dramatic look: Its factory-laminated, double-layer design is up to 195% thicker than typical single-layer ridge cap shingles or cut-up 3-tab shingles
  • Saves time: Extra-large 8" exposure provides a dramatic look and reduces the amount of ridge cap pieces needed to finish the job, helping save labor.

A:  Hello, each bundle of TimberTex Ridge Cap Shingles covers 20 lineal feet when installed at the proper 8" exposure. Please measure the total lineal footage of the ridge and hip areas of your roof and divide by 20 to estimate the # of TimberTex bundles needed. Please note, TimberTex is a double-layer ridge cap shingle, do not attempt to tear the two layers apart. They are not stuck together, they are intentionally laminated together at the factory to provide the double-layer design. Thank you.

        A:  Hello, TimberTex Double-Layer Hip and Ridge Cap are used for completing hip and ridge areas of the roof. Unlike typical hip and ridge shingles, TimberTex is a double-layer product for added dimension and protection which comes factory-laminated together in the bundle. They also have a larger exposure (8" vs. typical 5 or 5-5/8" exposure) which reduces the amount of pieces needed for installation. Thank you for your question.

              What is shown in the picture is completely wrong
              This product is a perfect example of deception. The color shown in the picture is completely wrong. Not even close to what the actual product is. I have veerified this on high end monitors with top color fidelity. Next, the pattern shown in the picture is not possible with these shingles. GAF ans Home Depot should stop this fraud. I am stuck with the wrong roof.

              Hello, we are sorry to hear you are not satisfied with the color of your shingles. It is difficult to reproduce the color clarity and actual color blends of these products online.                 Stuck together

                Hello, this product is a double-layer ridge cap, unlike typical ridge caps. Each shingle is a double-layer shingle which is not intended to be torn apart, as they are laminated together intentionally. Each bundle covers 20 lineal feet. There are 10 sheets per bundle, each with 3 double layer ridge caps per sheet.
