Vycor Plus High Performance self-adhered flashing provides premium protection against water infiltration in critical details, such as windows and doors. When properly installed, Vycor Plus flashing tape reduces the risk of mold and rot development and contributes to energy efficiency. AnswersThe rv suppliers have tape for epdm roofs. It will not react adversely to the epdm. Epdm requires specfic products to maintain its integrity. If your epdm has shrunk away from the moulding then tape or sealant will not help. My sldeout epdm had shrunk or tore away from the trim. I applied 4 inch tape and epdm self leveling sealant. The next rain, we had a waterfall coming out of the cabinets. 10k to repair the damage.

The Vycor Plus 6 in. fully-adhere flashing will served as a great supplement to the SureCorner flexible corner flashing for my sliding patio. Hopefully, the combination of the Grace Vycor Plus flexible flashing and the SureCorner will protect the subfloor/sill and all below it from water intrusion for a lifetime. The Vycor Plus adhered well even with a cheap J-roller. Vycor Plus does have ripcords. I counted at least two. I noticed them after a few cuts. You can easily miss them.
I had to replace the 20 year old Crestline wooden (Aluminum clad exterior) patio door that came with my original home. I chose the United 4500 vinyl door for the second installation. In 1997 my builder installed the patio door with no protection of any kind to the subfloor/sill. Over the years water infiltrated and damaged part of: the fixed door panel (not his fault), the door sill, subfloor/sill, the exterior OSB sheathing, box joist, floor joist, insulation (between the floor joists), and the house sill. I had to fix/replace some structures before installing the new door. A replacement job became a repair and replacement job. Good luck with your projects.

It is a thin, asphalt based flashing with a sticky back. Just peal off the paper and apply it. My use was to seal deck beams before laying deck boards. I just rolled it out and pressed it around the beams. Since another reviewer said the sticky doesn't hold forever and needs some mechanical restraint, I stapled the edges with stainless steel staples. I had an occasion to remove a deck screw and could see the asphalt really gripped the screw and made a water tight seal. Fun to work with!

Used Grace Vycor's heavy-duty sticky(!)-back flashing to protect my old pressure-treated deck joists from future weather damage. We're replacing original 22-yr-old cedar 4 x 5/4 planks with Timber Tech composite. While I appreciate Vycor's product differentiation (they offer this as 4" x 75' "Deck Protector" with a non-slip pattern for $5 more -- for the short time it's exposed while you lay down planks), I purchased the 12" x 75' rolls to cut into different strip widths (2' for rim joist, 3" for joists, 4" and other for other flashing needs) and save some coin in the process. This stuff is slippery on the top, sticky on the back, and appears to be thick enough to survive years of pressure washing where it remains exposed between the planks. I anticipate other uses for what I have left over. We shall see how it holds up...
I was surprised that my local HD doesn't stock it but doubly pleased that shipping to home was free and product cost was less than other retailers that had it in stock.

easy to work with in 12" size, ripcord is a big help when applying a 16' piece over the edge of flashing. great product, i used it to seal a large area behind T1-11 siding when attaching a deck ledger board to the rim joist. order the big roll, you will find places to use it. store it in a cool place until ready to use.

Installation was a breeze. This stuff is really sticky even in cold temps. I've put this up on my house end of November (11/30/19). Be sure to use a roller to really push this stuff onto your surface and get rid of any air trapped behind it. Time will tell how this performs but so far i feel confident that it will keep my house dry during rain and snow.
