great finished look, easy to install
Just plug and play! Since they will be visible at counter level (future installation) they have to look pretty! For the few extra bucks the stainless steel look is well worth it. Remember to tape clockwise prior to threading these on to prevent leaks and the tape from rolling up as you thread it on. Cool trick as well for tight applications such as this, roll your tape onto a straw or pencil first and then onto what you want it to ultimately be on. It will save you a bunch of hassle and have a better seal.

No rubber gasket came with my hoses, So stupid! Who in their right mind would send washing machine hoses and no gaskets, you can see that there’s no gasket, might as well just turn on the Spicket with no hose at all.
Why order anything online.

DO NOT USE THESE HOSES!!! I bought these hoses in October 2017. I pulled them out of service in July 2019. From these photos you can see how much rust accumulated on the couplings. This was from 22 months of service. Both of my hoses rusted onto the brass valves of my house. For a hose in this price range, I would expect brass or chrome plated brass couplings. Yes, the hose is covered in braided stainless, but the couplings are steel. Instead, these hoses are chrome coated steel. You can see the attached photo where a magnet is attached. On threads, this chrome is easily chipped and will allow for water in. Once the water is in, the rust will start. I had to cut the hot water hose off. Fortunately, the cold water hose came off in one piece.
I am so glad I noticed this issue after 22 months and before the fittings failed.

Bought these with my new LG Washer, they seem very sturdy & are working great. Curved downward where they attach to washer, so they don't just get bent. So far, so good (1 week) !

Love the extra security of the steel braided lines, and plastic coating. We did not get gaskets with the hose? Maybe someone removed them as it was the last hose they had, we just used the ones from the old hoses as they were in good condition. Liked the ends with the curves, allowed us to get the machine closer to the wall.

After one year, the hose couplings are already showing signs of rust and will probably need to be replaced within the year. No signs of water leakage was noted prior to this. Just bought the washer and dryer exactly one year ago and replaced hoses at the same time.

These hoses are 4' long not 5' long as it says in the item title on the HD website. We just installed an LG washer/dryer and I needed a new set of washer hoses to complete the installation. These worked well, despite them being a foot shorter than I was expecting after I'd researched them on HD's website.
Since we have a relatively small gap between the washing machine and the wall, I opted for this set of hoses with the 90 degree elbow so we have a smooth connection between the machines and the wall.
The hoses are stainless steel, encased in a protective smooth clear plastic coating, so they aren't abrasive to handle and don't scratch the paint on the washing machine when the machine is being installed in a tight space like a laundry closet.
Rubber washers are included in a small plastic bag that is stapled to the inside of the cardboard packaging and initially I didn't see them and thought I needed to buy washers separately so examine the packaging closely!
The only improvement I would suggest is to color code one hose or the other as Hot or Cold or provide an adhesive sticker in the bag with the rubber washers so you know which is which when connecting the lines up. Our laundry room is tiny so you can't see which hose is connected to which inlet once the stacked washer and dryer are slid into place. Thankfully, our new washer came with a 'hot' decal covering the hot inlet and we took this off and wrapped it around the hose end for the faucet to help us figure this out.
