Hi Trigger, thanks for reaching out to us. For more information regarding an extended warranty, we recommend contacting your local Home Depot. We hope this is useful information! - Guy@GEA
Hi Mike! We appreciate your question. We found that dehumidifiers are designed to remove the moisture from a single room. In a situation where you have multiple rooms, you have nothing to circulate the air from room to room to allow that humid air to reach the dehumidifier. If there are large openings from one room to another you may get some dehumidification. The primary space where the unit is located will be dehumidified the best. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us at our contact page. Stay safe! Emily@GEA
It will easily pump over 6 feet in elevation. I recall it is rated for more than twice that.
If you ask me tomorrow I can get someone to get the model no. for you. I'm handicapped and unable to get it for you.
Hi gfab - Thanks for reaching out to us about this dehumidifier! We are happy to offer you some guidance in this question. The exact number of amps that an individual dehumidifier draws is located on the rating plate. If you cannot check the rating plate, you can use the minimum amp breaker or fuse size recommended for this appliance as a guide. We would recommend using a 15 amp, properly grounded 3-prong 115-volt outlet, to account for the startup draw. We hope that this helps! -Eliza@GEA
Mine measures 5 feet long.
None. It doesn't cool, it's just a dehumidifier.
Yes, I bought two units, one for the main basement and one for the crawl space. It works well.
Hello and thank you for the interest in this amazing dehumidifier. The decibel ratings are 51 dBA on High and 47 dBA on Low. We don't have EEV ratings for our dehumidifiers. Instead, it is Energy Star certified, and is rated with an Integrated Energy Factor of 1.8 L/kWh Keep in touch! - JB
That reading is humidity level in percent not temperature in degrees.
