This depends on how frequently you are using the lights, but if you are using a high quality brand of battery such as Energizer, you should be able to get several hours of use. This can span across several months if you are using the light for shorter increments of time versus leaving them on constantly. A:  The batteries last maybe two days on full.

A:  We've had six of these under our cabinets for at least two years. I don't think it's easy to set a timetable on how long batteries will last unless someone used a stopwatch to gauge that. I don't replace the batteries for all the lights at once but only as each light gets dim. I DO know that the one closest to our refrigerator (and above our toaster) gets the most usage, and the batteries get changed maybe every two months. The two lights at the cabinets near our dishwasher get the least use and the batteries probably last six months. The ones on either side of the stove are somewhere in the middle, and the sixth one--farthest from the fridge--is in the same category as the ones near the dishwasher. That ain't real specific, but I hope it helps.

A:  they would be dead in a day if left on overnight, if you get it make sure and turn it off, it is not for display it would work for illumination of work space from undercounter, much like a shop light, the hook and loop does not work well, it actually falls due to the lights weight, use glue or hot wax for support

Something like this is designed as a task light, so it will go through batteries fairly quickly if you just leave it on for several hours throughout the day, every day of the week. We would suggest going with a plug-in style if you plan on using this for lengthy time periods. A:  not long if you have the light on 24/7, i only use the light in china cabinet for socials or get togethers , i replaced it with a plug into the receptacle light, this battery light is very bright but the velcro or sticky tape that come with it does not hold and it falls down, its quite heavy if your putting it up over anything breakable use glue or hot wax, but if its left on the batteries dont last but a few days

A:  Remove light from where installed. (Slide to one side to disengage from screw heads.) Slide battery cover off, remove old batteries, and replace in correct position. The hardest part for me was re-installation onto screw heads.

A:  Locate the small parts with lines on each side, then you pinch in and pull down or slide this cover off it houses the batteries.

A:  Once you install the light, you just need to grasp where the lights point out from the unit and slide that piece toward the end. It will easily slide when you push it in the correct direction. The batteries will be in the piece you remove for easy changing.

A:  Hi Larry, thank you for your question. To change the batteries, press in the two side tabs and slide the back cover in the direction of the arrow, insert 6 batteries (not included), noting polarity. Replace cover by sliding in the opposite direction. A:  There are tabs on one end. Press them in and slide the body off the mounting fixture. Replace the batteries and slide it back on.

A:  The batteries are changed out on the backside of the light. There is a panel that slides open where the batteries are placed into.

A:  Squeeze the release buttons at one end and slide the top away from the bottom.
