Why do I have to change it so frequently?!?

AnswersSo sorry to hear this isn't working for you. We haven't had a problem like that. I am wondering how much water you are using each day. As a family of 4, one filter lasts us about 3 1/2 months. Since our refrigerator prompts us with a countdown as to when the filter should be replaced, we always replace it within that time limit. We have had no issues with reduced water flow. But maybe we aren't having problems because our refrigerator is only 1 1/2 years old. Hope sharing our experience helps to figure it out.
Does this product contain the chip that GE refrigerator have .

Too expensive
All my appliances had to be repaired before they turned 2 years old and I had to replace the microwave the circuit board burned out. I am not happy with my GE Profile appliances

Great features!
Since my 30 year old GE refrigerator was still in excellent condition when I donated it due to downsizing, I bought a new top of the line GE refrigerator, washer, and dryer. Also, my new gas stove is a GE product, as well as the microwave.

Fridge filter
The last 2 or 3 times I have changed the filter, it has been extremely difficult. I was afraid that I was going to break something, trying to push the new filter into place. Removing the old filter was also very challenging. I DREAD having to go through this regularly.

Difficult to install
Once you get it in it is fine, but it is extremely difficult to install.
