Heavy and heavy duty! We’re preparing to tear down and restore a 1952 Ford 8N tractor- which definitely is NOT metric! With this set we’ll be able to use our air tools with the added safety and security of chro-moly metallurgy and 1/2” drive. Every size we’ll need within easy reach. Less expensive sets generally don’t include larger than 7/8” sockets and are made of less-tough valadium steel.
Essentially, this is two 19 pc, 1/2”-drive, 6-point, IMPACT-rated SAE sets: a set of standard and a set of deep- wall sockets that run from 3/8” to 1-1/2”. The set also includes a 1/2” drive universal joint. Each socket is both high-vis laser etched and stamped (in case the etch wears off). The blow case (injection molded) includes size markings, 4 tough clips, and steel hinges to keep the contents secure.
Other subtleties that make these pro-rated tools: angled entry (chamfered openings), off-corner loading (eliminates fastener rounding), and corrosion-resistant coating.
Already feel like a professional just owning this!

One of the heaviest socket sets ever made. 3/8 to 1 1/2 inch deep and shallow sockets. Designed to grip the nut or bolt head without rounding them off. Made short work of removing the duals on my motorhome. Snaps on to the impact wrench very security so they do not fall off every time you set the impact down. Extremely nice Dade to keep them organized. Cannot say enoughh hood things about them.

This set has just about every size (SAE) that you would need for automotive and construction. My next set will be the metric version of this set. They seem to be of high quality but time and usage will tell. Last year I performed some work on my wifes car and had to buy a socket here and there, then wondered why I don't have a complete set. So now I do and very happy it.

Larger size sockets should be driven with half inch or larger drive ratchets or impact drivers. This set of 38 sockets includes two of each size, consisting of one standard and one deep. The SAE sockets sizes number 19 ranging all the way up to 1-1/2 inch.
The sockets are 6-Point which is very important when working with bolts and nuts in these sizes. This lessens the chances of stripping nuts, bolt heads, and the socket as well.
The markings on each socket are etched and hard-stamped. The hard-stamp means the size will always be visible even if the etching should wear off.
The included swivel is also impact rated which is its most important feature.
I like the case which has steel hinges and buckles.

These GEARWRENCH 1/2 INCH DRIVE 6-POINT STANDARD AND DEEP IMPACT SOCKET SET is nice and it comes in it’s own carrying case. The deep sockets have a nice deep well. The shallow sockets are very usable. I used this set with my air ratchet and it worked great to remove both easy and stubborn nuts and bolts. The sockets are clearly marked so there’s no problem finding the size you need. The set didn’t come with a ratchet, so you have to use your own if you want to use them that way. I am extremely pleased with this 39-piece socket set.

This a very nice set. The quality is very good and professional grade. It has pretty much every SAE size needed in deep socket, standard and comes with a limited lifetime warranty. Off corner loading is designed to reduced rounding (i.e., see photo comparison). I took a photo of one of my less expensive socket to compare and I’m not seeing it. Only time will tell if I’m not replacing lug nut bolts as I frequently take my tires off and on depending if racing, or rotating them. Also, if this is true, it will be great on my many other applications using my impact gun. I took the pins that hold the case cover off and used bottom as a socket tray and worked out really well. If the socket is turned around where I can’t read the size I can see the raided number on the tray. My son will get my less expensive set of impact sockets.

Very happy with this socket set so far. It's got every size from 3/8 to 1 1/2 in both regular and deep. The plastic case isn't super high quality, but it's more convenient that trying to keep this many big sockets on a rail or -- gods forbid -- loose in your toolbox. The sizes are clearly marked on each socket, which is more than can be said for a lot of sets. I've found gearwrench quality to be hit and miss for other tools I've had, so we'll see how these hold up, but they seem solid and I'm not too worried about breaking them.

Impressive, heavy duty, and comes with both regular and deep socket 6 point and includes a impact universal. Time will tell how long they last but they really are strong. Comes in a nice case that latches on top and on the sides. Comes with 19 different sizes from 3/8" all the way to 1,1/2" both matched in regular and deep socket. Now I need the matching set in metric. I highly recommend this product and hope to use for many years.
