I was searching for a toolbox to store small hand tools and this box works great for that. It looks attractive and well made, but the metal seems lower gauge. The drawers slide easily but the slides do not have ball bearings. The top compartment only is lockable which means even with the top locked the drawers slide out easily which makes it impractical for carrying with tools or other items in the drawers. It is a nice tool box for an average homeowner looking to a stable, stationary toolbox that you can mount on a bench or tool cart for light tool and item organization.

Durable, shiny, looks nice, held all my tools. The drawers are a bit shallow at about 2 inches deep so my larger tools had to go in the top part which is about 3 and 3/4 inches deep. Both the top and the drawers lock which is handy, I guess.

Make sure all drawers are closed . To lock unit with door insert the locating tab of the door into the metering hole and turn key left. To lock unit without door close lid and turn key left. Please feel free to call us if any more issues. Thanks
