Great ratchet- comfy handle- easy to clean
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The finish is awesome. Perfect amount of back drag. Handle is comfortable. Feels solid in the hands. Although I feel having knurling would be helpful, having a nice smooth handle makes it easy to keep clean.

          Very comfortable tool.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used it on my cars of course. Great feel and comfortable to hold. Does not feel cheap or flimsy. Solid ratcheting action. Nice finished surface which is easy to clean. Makes me want to go and buyer the whole set of matching tools.

            Great tool for tight areas
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really enjoy working with this ratchet on day to day maintenance, the fact that it has 90t makes great work in tight areas. I have replaced my craftsman pro and plan on putting this ratchet through wringer

Great quality ratchet for a good price, recommend
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ratchet was a good purchase. I used it while doing a suspension refresh and it worked beautifully. The sockets never fell off and actually took some force to remove it while preshing the quick release button.

Never lose a socket again! NEVER!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to start off by saying that I am a HUGE fan of Gearwrench tools. I have two complete Gearwrench socket sets in each size: -6 and 12 point 1/4". -6 and 12 point 3/8". -6 and 12 point 1/2". I have also purchased some additional Gearwrench ratchet wrenches. I own 84T, 90T, and 120XP ratchets. Short handled, long handled and flex head. I own their torque wrenches too. I really like them all. None of my Gearwrench ratchets have ever let me down. I now have this new 90T 3/8" drive ratchet. I LOVE this thing! It looks just like my 84T wrenches, but with a difference: The extensions and sockets now lock on! When a socket or extension is locked on, there is NO WAY that a socket or extension can come off. Having a socket come off when your hands and arms are crammed into a tight engine bay with minimal clearance can be a big problem. Been there. Done that. Having a few more teeth is nice on this ratchet is nice. Works a little better than the 84T in tight spaces. The head is about 2 MM narrower than my 84T models. As always the chrome finish is beautiful. The finish and durability is something I have come to expect from Gearwrench tools, and this new ratchet wrench is no exception. I have included some pics of all of my Gearwrench sockets in all of the sizes mentioned above, along with this new ratchet for comparison. The bottom line: I love this new wrench. Love. Not like. I love it. It really is a great tool. If and when I need to add another ratchet to my vast Gearwrench tool collection, it will definitely be a Gearwrench with this socket lock-on feature.

                  81218T Gearwrench Ratchet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently had the chance to use the Gearwrench 81218T 90 tooth 3/8 ratchet. Was very pleased with the quality and feel of this ratchet. The on and off switch is very smooth and is clearly marked. My go to 3/8 Gearwrench ratchet that i use daily does not have the push button to release the socket and i found having the button is much more convenient especially in tight spaces. The 90 tooth gets the job done in short order. This is definitely a quality ratchet at home in any tire shop to be used on a daily basis. I have mostly all Gearwrench ratchets and have found them to high quality tools that i can rely on. Would recommend this 81218T ratchet to anyone that is looking for a great socket turner.

                    Great ratchet. Looks professional
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like using ratchets that have the push to release function because it seems I’m always upside down and oil all over the place. I just push the button. Also I want the socket to stay attached till I want it off. The nice part with this ratchet is that the button is well recessed so you don’t release the socket when you don’t want to. All my others had the button sticking out too far. Also, I love the fact that the ON OFF switch is recessed and clearly marked. The action is smooth on the 90 tooth ratchets. I have both the 120 gear and now some 90 gear. Can’t really tell much difference between them as far as smoothness and operation.

                      Nice addition to the toolbox
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a nice 3/8 go to ratchet and this one did not let me down. My first project with it was brakes on my truck. I felt comfortable with it breaking stubborn bolts loose and the 90 tooth was so smooth. I also really liked the nice finish on the ratchet to. Really felt like I was getting a good quality tool.

                        3/8 90T GearWrench Ratchet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gearwrench 90T 3/8 ratchet is a great addition to any socket set. Fine easy to clean full polish, low back drag, with a push button socket release. Low profile to get into tight places especially with a short socket. Available with a comfort grip or standard handle. Perfect length for common tasks, won’t let you down.

Great Quick Release Ratchet - 4 Month Review
I was in the market for a quality quick release 3/8 ratchet and when this came out I ordered it immediately and I am so glad that I did. I have used on: oil changes, radiator swap, a fuel sending unit replacement, interior work, etc. Pros: quick release system is flush with head but still easy to press when you want, easy action on foward/reverse lever, smooth action on quick release mechanism and sockets both stay on and release well, strong 90T mechanism, chrome quality, smooth ratcheting mechanism, small ratchet head. Cons: if I had to pick something, I guess the back-drag could possibly be a little better, but I am still breaking in the mechanism and I really have no complaints or cons so far. 10/10 ratchet
