This is a really nice set, as expected from Gearwrench. Each tool is well-crafted and feels good in the hand, and the price is very good if you want all four pliers. My only concern, and this is one I've had with other Gearwrench sets, is that you may not actually need all the tools that this kit comes with. Having both "external" and "internal" snap ring pliers drives up the price, and most projects will need one of the other. Frankly, I've never needed "internal" snap ring pliers and don't know what I'd use them for. You might actually consider just buying the single pliers that you need. The four models numbers included in this kit are:

The GearWrench 7 in. fixed tip internal and external snap ring plier set has filled a need in my toolbox. For years when working on a project and encountering a snap ring that needed to be removed, I’d find couple of small Allen wrenches and a pair of vice grips and a small screwdriver and would go to work trying to remove the snap ring. No longer will a snap ring create so much problem on a project.
This four-piece set includes both internal and external pliers with both straight and 90° jaws. All 4 pliers are spring loaded open or closed depending on application. I like the easy-clean dipped grips. The forged design with fixed tips is what is required for everyday use. I recommend these pliers to any professional or avid DIY craftsmen.

The four piece fixed tip snap ring pliers set is just what I need to easily remove those annoying retainer rings. I originally would use the regular piers I have available and struggle to remove the rings hoping I don't snap them. With the Gearwrench set I have the ability to easily remove and replace internal and external rings quicker. The fixed tips is strong. This plier set is very convenient to have.

It always helps to use the right tool for the job. While repairing my vacuum cleaner, I removed a “C” retainer clip with a screwdriver. I got it off, but it meant a trip to the hardware store to get a replacement clip. I got this set of retainer clip pliers to avoid future such trips. They are very comfortable in the hand and have one tool for each of the normal functions: one for internal straight, one for internal right angled, one for external straight and one for external right angled. Nice grip and well manufactured.

This is the 4 piece of 7 inch interior and exterior snap ring pliers set. They come in a nice package and tray that keeps them stowed nicely.
There are two pairs of 90 degree angled snap ring remover pliers (1 that is spring loaded open, and one that is spring loaded closed). There are also two pairs of straight snap ring remover pliers (1 that is spring loaded open, and one that is spring loaded closed).
All the pliers are forged for long life and durability. They also all come with a nice comfortable grip that is easy to clean.
This is a nice set of snap ring removers for the money.

This Gearwrench 7 in. fixed tip internal and external snap ring plier set is excellent because they don't need to be adjusted (already fixed). You just grab the pliers and use them.You don't have to look for the right size pins because they are already set. The quality is top-notch and I don't think I will ever need to buy replacements for them. This set more meets my expectations. I would definitely recommend purchasing them.

I am so glad i found these because i never had them before and a while back i needed a pair of snap ring pliers and had to borrow my neighbors pliers. So now I have my own and i do not need to borrow my neighbors anymore.My neighbor said i might just borrow yours from now on lol.that is ok my friends need to check these snap ring pliers from gearwrench because i definitely think they are well worth it.
