Q:How deep are the drawers? The previous answer to this question does not appear to make sense. There are 5 drawers. The answer gave depths of 3.7, 2,3.3,3.3, and 3.8. This adds to 16.1. Really? Height excl casters is 32 inches.

I finally have ONE place for my garage and tractor tools, and it ROLLS!
I was so tired of tools dumped in toolboxes then having to drag multiple toolboxes around to find the tool I needed and get anything done. The GEARWRENCH GSX 26 inch is exactly the size tool cabinet I needed. Big enough to hold the tools I regularly use and more, but small enough to roll around and find a place to store out of the way until needed. Having one place to put and find tools will do wonders to help me better organize and save a lot of time wasted hunting the toolbox with the tool I need at the moment.
Four casters and a handle are all you need to assemble and a stamped wrench is included that will do the job. The drawers can be locked and all of them latch until you want them open. They roll smoothly in and out. The cabinet rolls easily on the five inch casters and the two swivel casters lock so the cabinet doesn't wander off by itself while you are working. The handle can be put on either side and I put it on the same side with the swivel casters for easier manuevering. I'm going to like having this, a LOT!

Great, Sturdy Tool Cabinet
Very nice and sturdy tool cabinet. I received shipped and it was well packaged to prevent damage. Comes with everything you need to complete assembly, which is minor. Install side pull and 4 heavy duty casters. Five inch wheels, raise the unit up 6". already has threaded holes installed and your choice of which side you want the handle on, they even include bolts to block off the side you don't use! The drawers are heavy duty with bearing slides, rated at 100lbs per drawer, and have handle length latch and when you push close the last inch will suck it in for a positive close. Easy to remove and reinstall 5 drawers from 9 inch on bottom to couple 2: at top. comes with precut pads for each drawer and top. Very pleased with the quality and crackle paint to help prevent scratches.

Nice size and smooth operation
GEARWRENCH 26 in. 5-Drawer GSX Series Rolling Tool Cabinet, Black & Molten Orange. The cabinet has drawer sizes ranging from 9 inches at the bottom to 2 inches at the top. Each drawer has a rubber pad on the bottom of the drawer. There is also a thick rubber pad on the top of the cabinet. Overall height is 37 inches with wheels installed. Width at 27 inches and depth 18 inches Some assembly is required to put on the wheels and handle. The handle can be placed on the right or left side of the cabinet. The heavy duty 5 inch hard rubber wheels are attached with 4 bolts. I found it easier to place the cabinet on the top to install the wheels instead of struggling to hold the heavy assembly while trying to start the bolt. A 13mm wrench is required for the wheel bolts. A socket can be used for the two swivel/locking wheels but the fixed wheel are to fat to allow the socket in. The installation kit comes with a combination 10mm/13mm wench if you do not have metric wrenches. Each drawer slides nicely with a latch handle under the front edge of each drawer. There is also a round key lock there secures the whole cabinet. The cabinet is sturdy steel construction and the overall weight is enough to keep the cabinet from tipping with all of the drawers pulled out. Not sure if this is true if the drawers are fully loaded. The black box with orange drawer fronts is an attractive alternative to the traditional red chests.

As a typical guy, I can never have too many tools. The problem is when you don't have enough storage for them all. Well, this tool chest will go a long way towards solving my problem. It has four deep, spacious drawers and the top shelf which gets covered by the lid. The lid is supported by two gas filled struts to hold it in the open position so it doesn't fall on a lingering hand or finger. It comes with two keys for locking it when not in use.

Nice addition to the garage
I already have a full size toolbench in my garage, but needed something to store additional tools out in the shed. This box pretty much fit the bill. For where it's going to be, the size is just right. The drawer slides work well - it did take some getting used to to pull the lever under the handle to open each drawer. Nice part is when you close the drawers though they are securely closed. Powdercoat finish looks great and should stand up to the use it's going to see in my lifetime. My only gripe is shipping - it did arrive a little dinged up, the side by the lid was bent in and down so I had to work a little to straighten it out with a hammer and pliers. Also the track for the bottom shelf was not hooked into the box itself so it did not open. Again was an easy fix for me. Maybe add some better foam protection all around. For me it's fine because it's in a shed and out of the way, and I care more about function anyway. So all in all it's a good box at a great price.

The chest looks nice. But it came with a small dent in the top front right corner. It's noticeable to me and detracts from the quality of the product.

I was limping along with an old toolbox, bought this...
I was limping along with an old toolbox, bought this for Christmas for myself and love it! Plenty of storage for my needs. Comes with bottom drawer liners that helps with tool slippage. Drawers open and close with ease. I would have liked to see this model have power strip access, but it was unavailable, so I bought a Klein magnetic power strip and put it on the lid.
