Timeless Soap/Lotion Dispenser in SuperSteel InfinityFinish

I purchase all Grohe products when I remodelled my kitchen approx 3 year ago...this dispenser is the pits. I had to contact Grohe when the pump stopped dispensing soap, but they were good about it and sent me a replacement free of charge. But now I took the bottle out to clean off the top etc...and when screwing it back on the entire bottle head shredded out like a spring. As pricey as this product is, it should not give so many problems. I am so disappoint, its depressing. However, my Parkfield faucet I love with a passion, it's just awesome. But this dispenser makes me feel like crying..

It was an exact replacement, and was easily replaced.

As expensive as this was, it is a total disappointment. We are on our 2nd bottle, the soap simpy does not come out, we had to duct tape the center piece so air would not sneak in and soap would come out. We had this installed by a licensed plumber during a major remodel and were told Grohe is not what it used to be, very flaky quality and quality control. Today we went to find something under the sink and noticed some damage starting on the cabinet, inside. At first we thought it was water leaking from the faucet (also Grohe, btw!) but it turns out the soap dispenser screw, that attaches the bottom metal piece that sits on the countertop and screws on to the bottle under the countertop, had broken and there was a ton of soap overflowing and leaking into the cabinet every time we filled the soap bottle from above. Notice that the bottle is rarely un-screwed off the dispenser as all filling can happen from the top, so it is beyond me why that screw can fail that way. Needless to say everything had to come out of the cabinet, washed, and I am now shopping for another soap dispenser - anything but Grohe - I am done with Grohe. Grossly overprice and now riding on its once good name. By the way, nothing but the tippy top of their line of complex shower fixtures are made in Germany. The rest is made in China, as most things are these days, with a total lack of quality control.

Good but a little too short

Excellent dispenser. Works wonderfully, looks great. Happy that replaced old one
