Not sure. This is a pretty heavy composite so you may want to look at a silicon based sealant.

can this product be used to glue cracked cement roof tiles

Asked by: jo
I would purchase a sealant that is specifically used on concrete. I purchased this sealant strictly to complete a repair on my roof.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to apply Was easy to apply and covered a large area. Redoing the roof for my rental house in Phoenix so every thing is tested to extreme temperatures and wind.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good roof cement The roof cement is of high quality and economical as described.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor container The tar product itself functioned OK, but the tube container is paper based. When it gets wet (or damp), it begins to fall apart. You also have to puncher the seal after cutting the tip. Home Depot (local to the Gaylord Mi store) has another product that has a plastic tube container and works much better.

We bought this, instead of Henry's, to caulk a seam between riser pipes and the cement top of the septic system, because it seemed to have features Henry's didn't list on label...and it was cheaper. This stuff didn't stick very well; required really mucking at it to press/smear it into place, to get it to stick and caulk the seams between the 2 materials. Terrible to have to press/smear/work it onto the materials, to make it work in that application.

Product itself is good, problem is unless you are ready to use it all at once, you will find it does not stop coming out when you release the pressure on the caulking gun. It is a buck cheaper than the other stuff, and if you are prepared for using the whole tube at once, then it is a good deal. Since I was caught off guard, all I had was a mess to clean up.

The tar its self is Ok but the cardboard tube is weak and blows out with moisture around. The tube only has about 60% as much tar as Henry's roof patch. I used several tubes and 2 blew out. One was wet and one had set in a covered area but high humidity.
