I am getting older and don't have much padding left on my rear end. So with most chairs I need to add a pad. As you can see from my pictures my bedroom chair has front legs that stick up past the seat. These tend to poke the backs of my legs and are not very comfortable. This pad helps relieve that. My office chair is getting old like me and its built in padding has smashed down and has gotten hard. This pad helps with cushioning. The design of this pad is different, downright weird and at first glance you think this can't be comfortable. But surprisingly it is quite comfy. It can also be used on the floor to stand or kneel on. I will not be using it for that purpose but it is comfortable if you do. Different? Yes but it does work.

This grey Gelpro Pad-It seat cushion is now my favorite option for a soft portable seat to take along to outdoor events where uncomfortably hard seating exists. It is extremely light weight and has a cut out finger hold for carrying. You could easily roll it and stuff it in a backpack or duffel. Apparently it is waterproof and floats so it has many applications both indoors and out. The mat is made of EVA (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate) Foam. I tested it on my desk chair and it was very comfortable. As a seat cushion, remember that this Pad-It measures 17.5 x 17.5 inches. It may not be sizable enough for a larger person but it is perfect for my frame.

GelPro Pad-It 17.5 in. x 17.5 in. x 1 in. Green Portable Pressure Relief Car Seat Cushion – The GelPro Pad-it is soft and cushiony; my wife, though, finds it bumpy after sitting on it for a while. She is on the thin side, so maybe she feels the bumps more. I like standing on it over our hard-wood floors. It feels very comfortable and bouncy-like and it feels good on my knees when I need to kneel on our wood floors.
We tried it as a seat cushion in the car on the leather seats which are smooth and easy to slide across; we wanted something during the summer when they get hot. With the Pad-it on the seat, it was not easy to slide into the seat because it's not smooth and the bumps stick to you, so we still need something in the car. The cushion looks gray at first, until you put it next to something gray, but it is a dull olive gray-green.

The GelPro Pad-It 17.5 in. x 17.5 in. x 1 in. Green Portable Pressure Relief Car Seat Cushion isn't "green" but grey! So, I guess they mean that it is earth friendly! Anyway, this cushion is good for sitting on hard chairs - such as patio furniture - as well as car seats. It makes sitting more comfortable and really does relieve pressure on your legs and back.

This seat pad looks like a great quality item. It is put together well. It looks pretty dense and would probably be great for a larger person. But the overall surface is kinda bumpy for me. I have a bony butt and need lots of cushioning. I have used foam and memory foam for my seating needs, like in my car. I have a memory foam piece on top of my car seat. I tried the Gelpro pad in place of it, but it is not as comfortable for me. I ended up putting it under a patio rocking chair seat pad for extra padding - works great for me there because the foam padded seat is on top of it.

Wow! You will really love this. It has so many uses. I am using it for my seat cushion while I am on my computer for hours. This cushion is so much more desirable than the one I was using. I think I will get one for my back on the chair also. This can be used in your car if you want a more cushy feel. Or on the ground to kneel on while gardening. I am so glad I got it.

This is a nice improvement to the wicker seat on our office chair. My wife has grabbed this and is loving it. It provides a nice cushion on the slightly hard seat she has at her office desk. It breaths and help avoid a hot seat. It's kind of funky but functional. I could see me using it for a long distance drive or even on a plane flight. A little pricey IMO.

The GELPRO PAD-IT 17.5 IN. X 17.5 IN. X 1 IN. GREEN PORTABLE PRESSURE RELIEF CAR SEAT CUSHION is great! I put it to use the minute I got it. I use it to sit in my chjairs. It makes them to seem more comfortable. I also ftood on them on a cement floor and it made it easier to work. You can kneel on them as well and I tried that and found to be easier on my knees. I really like this and would like to get another.

I spend a lot of time in front of a computer and the television. As I have aged, I have begun to recognize the importance of providing comfort and support for my back, spine and tushy. I ordered this Gel Pad because I love wearing Crocs shoes (retiree) and thought that the evo plastic (like the shoes) would be so comfortable. Turned out to not be the case. The little knobby spikes are uncomfortable, turning it over doesn't help much. It does work for standing, as it is very comfortable on my feet. And for kneeling in the garden, it is functional, but it picked up too much lawn and leaf trash, so I had to hose it off after carrying it outside. I tried it on a hard surface and on a soft surface (car seat and sofa) and it was fine, but not really worth the $40 price tag, compared to the memory foam types that I use normally. They work better and are half the price. So this item is going to get relegated to the garden shed, for working outside.
