We recommend working with Home Depot as they will be able to advise when the product is back in stock. Thanks.
The generator is not an issue. It will work with any generator that has standard female receptacles. The "house" end of the cord must match the receptacle on the house. Some are male and some are female.
Yes, most generators provide 30 amp service. Use the appropriate outlet on the generator and it will work fine.
We recommend contacting our customer support team at 888-436-3722 as they will be better able to assist you.
30 amp generator cord, twist lock ! not rocket science plugs into your generator
This cord plugs into the 30 AMP outlet on a generator to connect that generator to a transfer switch which allows the generator to power some of the circuits in a home during a power outage due to a storm.
at 240 volts 8000 is 33.33 amps & 7500 is 31 amps should be able to use the cord on either one.
This is weather resistant.
No it has a 30 amp plug on both ends but you can buy an abdaptor to plug into house
Yes you can. However keep in mind that as you are increasing the cord length you are also increasing the overall Ohmic resistance of the cord. Consequently you may, depending on the overall length, experience power loss in the form of a voltage drop. Do ensure that both cords meet or exceed the minimum conductor gauge requirement dictated by the maximum available circuit current draw. Failure to due so could result in an overheating cord and the subsequent risk electrical fire.
